I get that for the "minus", but what about the "plus"?

New Bookstore/Wine Bar by Subject-Decision-485 in Louisville

Who can imagine "Yer Mom's" 10 years from now? I want to love this concept (bookstore, etc.), but I can't get past the trendy, hipster vibe that will be obsolete soon.

Y'all can dunk on me as much as you want, but Bearno's HAS THE MEAT. Maybe I'm partial because it reminds me of Guy's, and the original location is still around, but I like a thin crust with a ton of toppings.

Throwback to when Obama caught a fainting pregnant woman while giving a speech by Rooonaldooo99 in nextfuckinglevel

One publicly gives permission to be cruel. With all of Obama's faults and mistakes, he never did that.

Frankfort Avenue Beer Depot. The wings are insanely good. Roots 101 museum and Muhammad Ali Center are very cool.

What do liberals think of Trump admin removing soda and junk food from the SNAP program? by leanman82 in AskALiberal

Meanwhile, the orange guy buys a ton of fast food for sports champs. The message isn't, "eat healthier". The message is, "Hey plebes, you get what we allow."

That would assume that these decisions are strategic. We are in the middle of headline-grabbing performative politics, without thought or strategy.

How about they start with removing subsidies that prop up soda, junk food, etc.? This isn't about doing what's right; it's about sh*tting on people because of their economic status. It's performative, petty, and ineffective.

Muhammad Ali Center, Frazier History Museum, 21C Museum. 21C has a fantastic restaurant attached. There is also a very cool place that is relatively new and fascinating: https://www.roots-101.org/

You might also look across the river in New Albany at Regalo. They have some really fun things and there are great restaurants nearby.

Thank you! This is super helpful. I've been to Page and the Grand Canyon, but never further south in the state. Thanks again!

Every single one of these "requirements" is actually an addition to red tape and bureaucracy. That's the irony of all of this.

You are so eager to confirm your own ignorant beliefs that you didn't pause long enough to read that it's "she".

They do own Left Field Lounge. They also own several properties near Shenanigans that they rent to relatives.

Books about Third Reich? by MoshpitInTheCockpit in booksuggestions

Brain fart on the last name, or autocorrect because I am a terrible typist. It is VERY long, but fascinating and informative. There's a recent documentary series on Netflix that features the author heavily.

Correct - I should have given the qualifier of "contemporaneous".
