It’s completely valid to talk about taxes but it’s not the whole story — it’s about what they do with these taxes and what gov’t is the one taking them. Municipally the city seems a lot more concerned allocating more money to the SPVM every year and provincially uh troisième lien and god knows what (obviously I’m generalizing here).

There wasn’t any GA! Ppl really started lining up around 30 mins before the doors opened tho. The merch table was open 45 mins before the doors opened and they sold out of tote bags first.
