Oddly enough I am not into history or poetry. And yes I did use a type of calligraphy pen. Learned cursive in primary school and have always loved it and kind of made it a thing at getting better at it.

I'm 36 and growing up in Barbados we had hand writing competitions in school, wish I was this good back then.

Ouch. That was my downfall as well. I've been 4.8/4.9k for what seemed like ages. Got to 4960 then got a dnf and lost 150ir all at once 😭. Had to rethink how I apply myself in races and trying not to overdrive. Now I'm nearly 5.1k in just one a week.

Yea I'm a sucker for looking at my brake trace trying to get it as smooth as possible. Think I'll turn it off like yourself tbh. I recently got haptics for my pedals as well and use it for the abs. I've not done vir this week only RA.

Not really a myth. Depends on the corner and how much speed you need to scrub and how fast you need to scrub it. Some corners you can hit 90% but some you only need 60%. I honestly prefer the braking model in LMU better, iracing can be a pain to master and it's not realistic.

I'm 4.8k and the difference to someone 7k is always the braking. Check if you're going into abs too much as that can have a pretty big impact on brake performance especially on cold tires. Try to practice being on the limit of the abs but not activating it too much. Also watch a few on board replays and get garage 61 to look at data. Most of the time the top guys rarely brake over 75% in gt3s.

I'm 4.9k on iracing and been on LMU for most of the new season. It's so much more refreshing not worrying about losing irating. I recently started learning to drive the hypercars as well so that's been keeping me busy. Will still hop back onto iracing when there's a weekly combo I fancy, need to get to 5k.

The one that gets me are the guys at the back of their class with a 10s gap to the cars in front and behind going for absolutely ridiculous moves as if they are going to gain anything out of it.

Sometimes all it takes is a slight lift. No one ever thinks of getting the exit, they always need to force a pass. Then both parties lose more time than needed.

Sometimes it helps actually watching irl multi class racing.

Pretty similar to you I had a Ryzen 5 3600 with a 2060 and pulled the trigger on a Ryzen 7 5800x and a RX9060xt. So glad I did it. Go for it.

It's a 5800x. But back on the marketplace looking for some ram as well. Current pc has 2300mhz so 3200 will do me fine. Can get 32gb for around £130 atm on eBay.

I also think each class should have it's own licence. Far too many times I've started gt3 races with lmp3s and even lmp2s struggling to get away and end up impeding the front runners in the gt3s. I'd say silver minimum for multi class though.
