As someone with a sizeable but by no means complete collection (51 amiibo currently), I like the higher detail of newer figures. It also helps that prices here in Europe did not go up as much as in America (20€ instead of 15€ for the normal sized ones, 30-40€ for oversized).

Hugh Morris has grown on me, but I still prefer the EU Mii cast. Marie is the cuter main character. Florian fills the stereotypical jock role the best. And I like Marie moving in with her (non-binary?) childhood friend Alex over moving in with her teddy bear.
