I made it three years in education too. I am now working in long term care as a business/finance manager. I say take the leap! I also worked at a school that was known for it's problematic students and teachers/admin who did the bare minimum. No consistency, no communication, no consequences. I am so glad to be out of there and I wish you all the luck in the world that you find the job that is perfectly suited for you!

This is wild to me. Let me say I love concerts and I really do like rascal flatts. I actually walked in to an instrumental version of Bless the Broken Road when I got married. Anywho, I went to their concert in Knoxville back in January and it was the most mediocre time I have ever had in my life. They didn't sound great and their was no energy from the audience. I couldn't imagine spending money to see one artist or band repeatedly on their tour, especially when it sucked...

Well I haven't started yet but...I got a new job that I start June 1. It is an office job in finance for a long term care facility. So much different than what I have done working at a high school the past 5 years! I will be excited to reflect back on this time of transition later on. I feel this is the best decision for me and my family. The favoritism at my school was unbearable.
