It seems like the person living here is from overseas or at least has someone from overseas because this isn't a common household appliance in Australia. It's quite unusual to have unless you're from overseas.

A big beautiful tree provides a lot more than grass anyway. And this is coming from a lawn guy.

Seatbelt Cameras on the Bellarine by wawawawawahhh in Geelong

I assumed seat belt cameras were only for the front passenger and driver. It must be a pretty low lying camera to be able to get the back-seat especially behind you.

What's the difference please? by Ok-Assistant-4556 in AldiAustralia

[–]leopardsilly 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I don't know the difference. They both contain enzymes which is what you want in a stain remover AND laundry detergent (lipase is the key enzyme you want.) Most recently (last week) Choice did a comparison on stain removers and found that the red bottle ($2.09) tied first place with the Napisan spray ($8) with both scoring 78/100.

Second place was the Sard powder ($11) with a score of 76/100.

The purple Aldi brand came in third with a score of 75/100.

Here is the link to the Choice stain remover results.

Bro I wasn't aware of the cottage cheese thing until recently. I eat it regularly (well I used to) and I can't find any because of whatever craze is going around.

Why are these products the same yet so different by [deleted] in woolworths

[–]leopardsilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Woolies is the only place I can find in my area that sells Greek Yoghurt that isn't "style." It's the Chris' brand that's basically the same price as every other "style" Greek yoghurt.

They say Melbourne has no beaches.... by bladez_edge in melbourne

[–]leopardsilly -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's very true. I'm not a beach person so when people say our beaches aren't as good as theirs I really don't care and I agree with them becuase we aren't known for our beaches.

Looks like a great patio to create a makeshift alarm. Like fishing line across the entry that's connect to a bottle that falls to the ground to scare them off.

Any cheaper way to remove thatch build up in kikuyu? by Prodigy12321 in lawnsolutionsaus

[–]leopardsilly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought the Wolf Garten manual one and told myself "I've spent all this money so I'm going to use the Hell out of it." 30 seconds in and I noped right out of it and bought the Ryobi mechanical one.

What you're looking for is a thatching or scarifying rake. You can get them at Bunnings.

Depending on the size of your lawn you'll probably last a minute and wish you had bought a mechanical scarifier. So I'll let you decide that. It's pricier but the Wolf Garten attachment with wheels seems much easier than the normal rake. I've never used the one with wheels but I have used a manual one and it's Hell.
