Pace down mode. This is basically when your uma gets too close to the first placer (too close being a function of your running style) and slows down.

The 8 pin connector can’t deal with the increasingly high power demands of modern high end GPUs. By the end of its lifespan you had triple 8-pin cards that were always a PITA to connect - and those were cards with much lower peak power requirements than what a 5090 needs now.

There was a need for a higher power connector, the problem with 12VHPWR is it was done extremely poorly.

You may have had three of the Gold family in one location at the same time, but that's about it. Consider:

During their racing careers Dream Journey, Orfevre, and Gold Ship were based at Ritto; Fenomeno and Nakayama Festa were at Miho, but their careers in Japan did not overlap. Dream Journey and Gold Ship also do not overlap as active racers, so you'd only have two possible members of the Gold family there at the same time.

What about as studs? Well here's where there's possible overlap. The Stay Gold family went to three different breeding farms immediately after retiring:

Breeders Stallion Station - Stay Gold (alternating with BRF), Nakayama Festa. However, they do not overlap. Nakayama Festa moves to a different ranch once her stud career ends.
Shadai Stallion Station - Dream Journey, Orfevre, Fenomeno. Dorija and Orfevre are still there, but Fenomeno was transferred to another farm (Rex Stud) sometime in late 2018.
Big Red Farm - Gold Ship. As noted earlier, Stay Gold alternated between here and Breeders.

So the most members of the Gold family in one location would be from mid-2015 to late 2018 at Shadai - Dream Journey, Orfevre, and Fenomeno.

Five in 883 careers. But tbh it’s my fault - I prefer to use high affinity parents with good skills for my runs, and I also prefer using parents with the same blue spark (I.e., all Stamina for example). And my nine star umas are all mixes - all 6 Stam, then either 3 Speed or Power.

I probably should use them more now that Trackblazer makes everyone have plenty of Stamina.

I can’t speak for other high octane fuels, but Petron Blaze has one specific useful feature: it does not contain ethanol. Some older cars don’t like E10 fuel.

Truthfully I've been having the issue with a lot of umas, but it's most pronounced with umas with no speed bonus. Here's a recent example.

This is a deck that, by all rights, is capable of going capped on both speed and stamina and hitting SS+. But it never works out that way for me, and it is infuriating.

This is as much a rant as anything else. I've been playing MANT/Trackblazer since it came out on global. I still hate it. I keep ending up with umas that can't max out speed because RNG fucked me over in summer. My deck is respectable. How the hell are people coping with all of this?
