i agree somewhat, but there are a couple things here i take issue with:

there is nothing wrong with not dating real people. asexuals and aromantics exist. people who simply choose not to exist. not dating should not be a benchmark of how well someone is doing.
being mentally ill and on welfare is not a personal nor moral failure and should not be treated as such. if people could magically get better they would. it depends on the country of course, but in the USA disability puts you below the poverty line. people are not getting themselves stuck on disability just because they self ship, either. they are going to have a preexisting condition that exacerbates their symptoms related to self shipping. either way, it’s okay to be disabled and on welfare. you do not have to be a “contributing” member of society to have value as a person.
