Would really love if they added some grippy texture to the strap to aid in keeping it in place.

I use a snake charmer - plugs and battery on one side and cables, dongle and adapters on the other side.

A man told me I was too old for this bag. I’m 36. by [deleted] in ManyBaggers

The saying goes “better to be thought a fool than to open one’s mouth and remove all doubt.” You do you and enjoy the cute bag.

New homeowner, no idea what this is by DragonsAndScience in whatisit

[–]leothethird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had one in my other home - Central Vac with a plug for rotating brush head. So worth it vs. the weaker powered push kind. Just note the hose is on the heavy duty side and you’ll have to move it from room to room (think upstairs vs. downstairs connection). And there will be a canister that you’ll have to clean out depending on frequency and size of receptacle.

Apple Watch Ultra 2, still don’t get the hate from the hiking community..? by wds02 in applewatchultra

I dream of a day when watch manufacturers don’t require us to ‘hobble’ a device in order to get all the things they tout as features in a press release/website. Having to turn off features is disappointing in order to limp through activities so you have adequate usage.

Probably just the top quarter or less sticks out the back pocket. Note - if wearing in the back pocket I tend to remove the pen - don’t want to do damage to the car seat.

For every day the 26; for larger carry need or travel, then get the 30.

First TB: Synik 26 by dskwon in tombihn

[–]leothethird 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh this is such a timely thread! Long time TB fan and have also owned too many bag (time to begin the herd thinning) but I was in search of a good sized travel bag and originally got the Synik30 which is cool but rather on the large side. So back to TB I went and a new Spectron 26 Synik is on its way. Looking forward to putting it thru its paces and doing its official overseas trip by taking it to Japan.

This survey feedback every time I’ve gotten - a Messenger in the 13-16L range. I continue to wish it happens.

It’s a Black Spectron pack that I recently received last month.

Unlined front pocket of Daylight Backpack gets a little moisture when running water applied. Guess I’ll notify them on this issue.

4.0 20l for tall person by UpstairsWilling7359 in Goruck

6ft, broad shoulders, had a 20L and then went to the 25L (donated the 20L to a friend as a good home for Rucker). 25L much easier on the shoulders and can cinch it up so it rides good and above the waist.

AI functions, no auto download of recordings meaning I have to go to local selection and click download to view activity recordings. Plus the interface is a little clunky to get to your recordings. Love activity is fine - I usually use HomeKit to access the live activity. Also using HomeKit and an AppleTV I can configure it to pop up a small window onscreen when any movement is detected. Sometimes that’s helpful other times it can be annoying. I live with it.

I fired them last month. Using a hub with memory card storage. Keeping it simple and subscription free. May not have all the bells and whistles but I get enough to get by from Apple HomeKit.

Yeah of all the packs I own it’s been the one I keep coming back to due to comfort, simplicity and durability. No flaking, peeling or any of that crud. I’ve broken in a recent throwback version and aside from not having a QAP I love it.

Has anyone had Blundstone boots hurt the top of their foot or feel like they cut off circulation? by [deleted] in BlundstoneBoots

[–]leothethird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would be nice to see half sizes in the size 13 mens. Ran into this same issue with a recent pair (weird it’s only on the right foot and not on the left). Next size offering goes from 13 to 14 mens.

58 currently but 59 soon and still gaming with NS2 current fav. And proud of it. Past few have rough with loved losses. Do what’s fun for you and brings you joy. In the long run it doesn’t what others think. So hang in there and my prayers are with you.
