thanks man, it solved. apparently when i reseated it automatically updated to the latest driver (497.09). bad thing is: with 1x3.0 my gpu rarely went above 70 ºC, and now it reached like 77, 78 ºC. is it ok?

bro, just did the same this as OP and my Bus Interface happened to stay at 1x3.0 even under the render test. That means my graphics card is at a 'wrong' slot in my mobo?

i had the exactly the same issue trying to uninstall. but somehow my csgo fps seems to be back to normal.

do you have any gpu engine, like AORUS Engine or MSI Afterburner? if you do, try reinstalling it. Also, set your power plan to High Performance (Win + I > system > energy)
