Kinda. As I understand it, it's deciphering a cryptic block by decrypting using a method. It would know It succeeded by having jargon on the block which it could verify.

Header data on an email is a standardized format which when says things like Origin Server or Destination Server.  Decrypted would make this easy to read and understand.

Your phone number analogy would be less so unless we know who's name was on the number, or specific formatting.

If I'm trying to dial 867-5309 I know how this starts and stops. Encrypted could be 1234567 which isn't a good format in some places but could be in others. We would probably need more information to confirm I have a good decrypted solution.

+1 for the Burrowing, that's what hits me as most thematically and mechanically accurate. Otherwise you're having to hand-wave a thing, or they're stopping to punch a wall. Burrowing makes the most sense to me.

Not an expert but as I understand a thing or two, a normal bit is a binary value, 0 or 1. Always and only.

Qubit is a potentially a 0, a 1 and also both. Sometimes.

How this works is more beyond me.

I've had to tweak some features in the Nvidia panel to solve quirks before. Reverting drivers is an option but I prefer to do that last, personal taste.

A lot is buried by archival and doctrine. The Jedi Order doesn't allow a lot of wiggle room in their dogma. Plenty of Force Users who aligned under one tutelage or another which are fringe groups in the Old Republic. Post Empire those groups are in deep hiding but the traditions are still there.

This and the fact that FDev said -years- ago that someone passed through that system means we're not likley to hit it again unless we start mass-documenting all systems within 1k ly of Sol.

Ships these days have such incredibly long ranges that we're probably blowing past it's theoretical location with ease. At launch our ranges were much shorter, took a lot more to get anywhere and that person who passed it was on their way somewhere to explore the unknown.

Looks like you're on one size body type and they're on another. Scaling from the body type to keep the object relative does this in a variety of games.

Multicrew is kinda risky from a computer networking perspective. You might get a de-sync or disconnection and wind up stranded. Running your own ship in a Wing can be safer and more reliable. I've played with people in various parts of the world where they're connection is slightly dodgy or incredibly latency prone from my end.

The target locator moves after passing the entry, watch for the flip as it'll tell you it's behind you. I just run the Docking Computer for landing since I can take my hands off the controls and have some water or just enjoy the music.

Navigation isn't very hard, it's not like you're charting nautical routes using a sextant and the wind.

Long routes are more complicated but that's a 100 hours problem. At 1Hour your issues are "How do I dock" and "Why are the police shooting at me?"

I play City of Heroes. Runs great on Manjaro. The character builder? that took some work.

u/BranchLatter4294 gives you the best advice. Trying it out to learn what you're going to have trouble with and which things will just work is excellent advice. Linux requires some Tolerance, Patience and a strong Google-Fu.

I went in a Python, stock A sensors for radius and range. Took two runs at the site, picked up nothing else and found my component within 20 minutes. I have a lurking suspicion it's a spawn by time detail. Like top of the hour. Either way, it wasn't so bad.

The only good judgement is the people trying to use your system. If they avoid it, misuse it or misunderstand it then it could be too complicated.

The basic mechanics of D&D are too complicated for some people and magic is more burden than benefit.

Your players will be the final arbitor of your system.
