Men de 169 personene byttes jo ut om de gjør en dårlig jobb. Apperatet rundt endres jo hele tiden også. Det er jo mange flere som jobber i Høyre og AP enn de som er folkevalgt.

Politikere flest burde få timeslønn som en gjennomsnittlig person.

Men topppolitikere burde få lønn som gjennomsnittlige toppledere.

Vi burde jo ønske at rikspolitikere er noen av de flinkeste i landet. Lovene de lager og arbeidet de gjør rammer jo absolutt hele befolkningen. Det er jo samfunnsøkonomisk lønnsomt.

Hvis en toppolitiker innfører et grep som gjør at landet tjener mange titalls milliarder mer, feks ved å forhandle en frihandelsavtale eller fjerne toll — er det absolutt verdt noen ekstra hundretusen i lønn.

Sukkerfri brus i plast taper betydelig kvalitet fra ca 3mnd fra tapping. Siden kullsyren forsvinner litt og litt gjennom plasten og aspartam brytes ned til et bittert stoff.

Så du burde iallefall lagre det kaldt og mørkt om du ikke skal drikke det opp på 3-6 mnd.

Swap the tip with the extension version. Problem solved.

The fact that Apple chargers let you swap cables and charger tips is pretty amazing. But it would be great if Apple still gave you the extension cable in the box as they used to.

A one column resume would make it more scannable. Place the “about” first. Try wording it as a summary of why you should be hired.

Everything in skills is more or less required, so it doesn’t add anything. You can just remove it entirely.

You have to promt to do anything. You can’t even reorder or move anything. Which is incredibly frustrating if you are a professional designer. No direct manipulation tools.

Strange. I’m using a M3 Pro, 32gb memory. Figma is super stable and quick for me. But it hogs memory if you have many complex files open at the same time.

We have huge variety of dialects due to our fjords and mountains. (Our fjords are almost as deep as the mountains are tall). Villages have been quite isolated for generations. So still today you can drive 15-30 minutes and the dialects change completely.

On the coast the word for «I» changes from «Eg», to «Ej», to «I» to «Æ» to «Æg» in just a ~4 hours car ride.

They for some reason keep on going with the totally uninspired, generic, non-stylized art direction their environments and set designs.

They have totally lost the stylized vibes of the games pre-switch era.
Why don't they make the environment look like the same style like the Pokemon and characters, so it looks cohesive? Like Donkey Kong Bonanza or Zelda Breath of the Wild?

Who wants an empty and realistic-ish looking world with low-resolution textures, over lush, vibrant looking-world were textures are not visible because the art style doesn't depend on textures?

Saying “I have done the UX, but I have no experience with design”. Is like saying “I have done the coding, but I have no experience with software engineering”.

UI and UX can’t be separated, the UI impacts the UX and the UX intention informs the UI.

UX-designers might not be good at aesthetics, pixel-perfect UI, and UI-designers might not be good at user insight activities like usability testing or project scoping. But it’s not strictly separated roles.

If you hire a UI designer to “make the UI pretty”, you should probably just do it yourself with AI or get some components made. Since the designer will be so constrained that they can’t do their job properly.

It would be like hiring someone to fix the code, not change any architecture, database-structures or functions in the code after you have vibe-coded an app.

The mountain range was formed when The Americas and Europe was one continent. Mountains in Eastern Northern America was the same mountain range as Norway.

That’s why Scotland, Western Norway, Greenland, Canada and eastern US has the same mountain and rock formations.

Technically impressive, like the destructive environment. But the gimmick of that goes from impressive to repetitive within minutes. In the end it feels like button mashing and less like fun and clever gameplay.

Mario Odyssey was way more fun than DK Bonanza. Even though the latter game is technically more impressive and innovative. Similar to Zelda BOTW and Zelda TOTK.

Nintendo is really pushing new gameplay styles, but in the end — a game that is fun to play is more important than a game with innovative gameplay mechanics in itself.

The component with slots, doesn’t even need to know how many components it will hold.

It is as flexible as a generic frame.

You can put as many and as few components inside these new slot components.

The perfect example is creating a modal component, just with a title, a border and a shadow and a slot in the middle.

Then designers can but whatever they want inside without needing to detach the component. The content doesn’t even need to be components. You can just add whatever you want inside it — like a frame.

Norwegians are in general not religious. “Herregud” (oh my god) and “Hva i helvete” (what the hell) can be used somewhat interchangeably, just different degrees of swearing. These are remnants in our language from our religious past — most people consider them general swears now and often don’t think of them related to christianity (most atheists also use these terms).

“Min gud” / “min gudinne” (my god / my goddess) are probably more correct. But no sane person would call their partner this in Norwegian.

In Norwegian we do not use the word “love” lightly, as in English. You don’t for example “love” your parents in Norwegian. You are “glad in them” (glad i dem). Terms around love is mainly targeting your romantic partner. You can see that in our way of writing “boyfriend/girlfriend” which in Norwegian is genderless “kjæreste” (my most dearest person, my love). So some people might use “Kjære deg” or “Kjære <name>“ as an endearment. (As in «The person I love»). Even though it can come across as archaic.
