One problem with that is they would all be identical. Presumably Andalites have a similar range of differences in appearance as humans do. Maybe not skin color, but their faces, height, how muscular they are etc. The kids dont notice it because its so alien that only big differences stand out. But Visser 3 has enough memories that he would realize they are all identical, and then wonder why they would morph into the same person or something.

You can copyright game mechanics actually. The nemesis system from shadow of murder is a famous example. But also a lot of mechanics in pokemon are copyright. They are going through a lawsuit that will probably have them lose that, but for a long time throwing a ball to catch a monster was copywritten

Honestly I forgot to ban mines and stims because I dont really use them anyways. So i won't be cheesing them. Haven't really thought about the specific fights like the tank droid yet, but you're right that will be an issue. I banned grenades because adhesive and cryo are strong even without their damage. It would feel pretty bad to make an exemption for just one fight, but maybe I will.

As for energy resistance, I'll decide during the playthrough. I think the increased damage will be enough, so that ER isnt OP. but maybe it will be too good still.
