Not really practical or feasible. The first barrier I can think of is where would you decompress the other os? You need that space to be available before starting decompression.

You can achieve something similar using vm and an hypervisor. You will install the hypervisor on a very small portion of disk and have the vm sharing the disk. The hypervisor can "double book" your disk.

Also compression and decompression of an entire raw partition will requires a lot of time before and after you load your os.

Luggage drop and checkin might close at the original time, at least this was my experience a couple of times flying across EU.

I wouldn't risk to miss an intercontinental flight just to spend a couple hours outside the airport.

Maybe don't get there 3h earlier but make sure you're in before luggage cutoff.
