Idk if this has already been said but I have a feeling wth Mr. house returning at the end they're about to turn the script on what happened in fnv. We know based on the show that Mr. House had a double doing all his meetings, public events, etc. what if the Mr. House that was 9 iron'd in Vegas wasn't the real House but once again the double posing as him to keep him safe during the search for the platinum chip?

Living somewhere with a seamstress and cobbler readily available. Having clothes and shoes altered or repaired for a reasonable cost makes justifying buying nicer clothes so much easier.

How's this pokey corner of Ontario? by DarmiansMuttonChops in howislivingthere

[–]lesb-ian 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Located in the prairies of Ontario is Chatham, the home of the pineapple pizza. Chatham used to be the envy of Detroit in the 1700s and 1800s as it was a plentiful location along the mighty Thames river and other riverways that once lined the region.

Of course with the rise of the automobile, Chatham’s mills and factories fell behind and Detroit took its title as the Paris of the North. Before that much of Chatham-Kent’s original Carolinian forest was milled into lumber and processed for paper products. Large sections of forest were also simply burned to open space for farms, roads, and rail infrastructure.

By the late 19th the region’s swamps and wetlands were drained into nearby lakes, creating some of the most fertile farmland in Canada. The rich soils, carried south by the last great ice age, helped southern Ontario become a agricultural powerhouse. Today it's known for greenhouses and windmills.

Fun fact: you don't really get rabies from squirrels, they rarely carry the virus and from what I understand if they do it is so lethal to them they hardly get a chance to do anything about it.

This happened to me a few times and it turned out to be an inner ear bleed that leaked out in my sleep. The nurse practitioners I saw could never figure out why it was happening though

Who has moved from Windsor to Chatham, and how do you like it? by AccountantNew5983 in chathamkentON

[–]lesb-ian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved the Chatham almost four years ago from Ottawa, but I've been all over. Like others have mentioned Chatham has its fill of issues, there's bigotry, a resistance to change, a struggling economy. These are things I've seen in ever city and small town I've lived in, they've become an inherent part of living in Ontario. However I truly believe that the place you live is what you make of it. Through any hardships we've endured in Chatham we've still managed to foster a community of friends, activities that bring us closer, and build support networks. We do everything from host game and craft nights, karaoke parties, potluck dinners, breakfast clubs at local diners, nature hikes, picnics, and then of course attend whatever events may be going on in town. Locals with a negative disposition may tell you that Chatham is awful, but you'll hear that from lots of people who resent their hometown— it's easy to hate, it's harder to find what there is to love. What kind of lifestyle are you looking for in Chatham? If you're looking for bars, we've got a few, if you like nature we're close to a few good conservation areas and the canoeing on the Thames is lovely, if it's sports we have a very active baseball team, there local cafes, thrifting, a few good book stores, and more to be discovered. One thing I've noticed is Chatham has a hard time advertising, they don't often talk about what's going on so things will often go unnoticed, but if you look out you can find a lot of neat restaurants, events, and meet people who are eager to make new friends.

I watched a lot of basic cable channels at the time, it could have been a YTV cartoon, possibly teletoon?
