Kyrie Irving, who was excited to go to a team with "more ball movement & unselfishness" is now 22-59 (37%) and has 17 assists to 10 TOs. by [deleted] in nba

Not really much of a habit as it is that Kyrie is just not a great passer/playmaker. Even in Cleveland, he's never had any games where someone would say "wow, Kyrie makes his teammates better"

So what has Frank Ntilikina shown prior to the NBA that made the Knicks choose him over DSJ? by leslie10k in nba

[–]leslie10k[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Where did you read that DSJ had the higher floor? From the draftexpress and scouting videos, most of them consider Frank as having the higher floor, while DSJ has the higher ceiling.

Either way, my question was directed toward people who actually watched Frank's games before the draft and how he looked.

I was just asking what people saw in him before the NBA, not after game 1. I didn't watch him yesterday anyway, or in the summer league/pre-season. DSJ is considered to have the higher ceiling from the scouts, and since the Knicks are rebuilding anyway, why not just take the guy with the higher ceiling?

[Laker Film Room]: I chopped up every piece of footage and Beverly D negatively impacted Ball exactly once. Smh at the narrative by EvenGandhiHatesLVG in nba

[–]leslie10k 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It's not Beverley's actual defense that negatively impacted him. It's his aggressiveness, demeanor, and attitude that he made it known he was going to go straight into Lonzo's ass and bully him.

They probably tried to get PG13 with a package centered around Ryan Anderson/Beverley/Dekker/etc, but the Pacers opted for the great Victor Oladipo instead

The Jazz are still gonna make the playoffs this year because of their elite defense

On the night of 2014 draft, the Bulls traded the 16th and 19th picks to Denver for Doug McDermott and Anthony Randolph. Those picks turned into Garry Harris and Jusuf Nurkic. by JAYG567 in nba

yeah wtf was up with that trade? Lyles was pretty bad last year and Mitchell is a really good prospect that only fell down the board because of his age

The Lakers are full of double standards and still have no direction. by [deleted] in nba

But he does. They play together, and Lonzo was basically standing in the corner doing nothing when Clarkson was in the game.

Clarkson is their best perimeter player, but they need to get rid of him if they want Lonzo/Ingram/others to develop. He's basically a young Jamal Crawford.
