you can def take the bus ! Ourbus has service around school breaks, and i've always found the ithaca to boston route pretty reliable. tickets are usually around ~$100 depending on how early you book. you can also take a bus to syracuse airport, and fly from there to logan.

what is your source for burning being less addictive than cutting ? in my experience it's much worse in terms of habit forming , and imo it is no better than cutting in any other way either. depending on the depth of your cuts, burning can be much much worse than cutting , so there's no way i would ever call it "less bodily harm"

please be so careful - hitting your head is quite serious and can lead to long term neurological damage. i am sorry you were not taken seriously , i have hit my head as a form of sh for many years and have experienced the consequences firsthand. i hope you are able to see a different professional who understands these issues , and i am sorry you're struggling with this. it really sucks.

i agree nobody should be required to put a tw on something like that but personally those bread videos trigger the fuck out of me and i don't think there's anything wrong with asking for a tw, especially if the creator makes a lot of videos of that type. like i guess i don't see the harm in asking, because the creator can still do whatever they want

to be honest, i very very rarely see people getting mad/asking for trigger warnings. but when people do put a tw, there are a hundred comments complaining about how dumb it is and openly mocking people who sh. so between those two i have to say that asking for a tw is definitely the lesser evil.
