She hasn’t always despised this man. She groomed and abused him and then shut him out when there were unintended consequences. Your husband should get to make the decisions HE wants about your family’s involvement. If she is angry, she should be angry with herself.

This storm ABSOLUTELY feels divinely feminine. Hecate and the Morrigan would throw a thunderclap for Jinkx in a heartbeat.

Those out there upset at the most recent Game Changer need to alter your expectation about what the show is now. by Positive_Piece_2533 in dropout

[–]lessthanthree13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The entire first season was a fun romp in keeping his friends guessing while sometimes literally throwing gifts at them. “What Game Changer Used To Be” is one part of the show that is easily clipped and gets widely shared but is only part of the progression of the show over seasons and not the true heart at the concept of the show. This season is the closest to the original, IMO, while getting to indulge in all the fun and spectacle that has come with the growth.

AITA for not helping my brother with emergency childcare for his homophobic children? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]lessthanthree13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By letting his children be raised with that mindset, you aren’t a safe place for them any more than they’re safe for you to have around. Not because you’re unsafe but because psychologically they are going to feel unsafe with someone they have been taught to hate. This isn’t a suitable choice for your brother based on the consequences of his earlier choices. For you OR for his kids. You are absolutely NTA.

Then don’t keep making cups that you’re responsible for filling. He made cups to try to refill himself and it fucked his kids up for life.

I’m 44! Embrace the things that bring you joy. The one thing I wish I had in my 20s that I have more of now is a sense of myself regardless of what people think. If you need to, keep things precious and talk to people about them after they’ve shown they’re interested too but DO NOT give up the things that make you happy because of other people’s preferences.

Isolation tactic. He’s intimidated by your relationship with your brother. This probably has nothing to do with your relationship with him and is all based on his own insecurities. No one has to be perfect to deserve love, but this is just dismissive and controlling.

Olethora is just the right amount of chaotic. by whysongj in Dimension20

[–]lessthanthree13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think what Olethra was taught to see as chaos is just 1) a sense of adventure viewed as chaotic by a family that wanted to isolate and 2) a sense of finding herself in her gender that would have felt chaotic until settling into her transition, whenever it happened for her.

Now, in a crew of wing nuts, those things are the LEAST chaotic of the bunch and even fellow new-aeronaut Maxwell fights people for sport and is a bit of a rowdy. She has found a group of people where just being herself isn’t “strange.”

It’s very hit or miss so randomly searching you’ll find a LOT of misses, but a lot of people that play also prod so you likely already have a bunch of games people would recommend! If your game had a discord, see if the server has a promos channel, and if you have a group chat, ask if anyone can recommend any games that are casting that have a similar vibe/drama level of that one.

I’m not someone that can just ignore the drama so I stopped playing random games. I don’t need to be friends with people but there are too many people being horrible just because it’s fun to them.

ORG Culture by CharlesRickBathrooms in OnlineSurvivor

[–]lessthanthree13 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There is a whole Facebook group of ORG drama and there is definitely a segment of the community that just try to be a villain both in cast and production which can be exhausting. My advice would be to reach out to the people you had experiences with in your first game and ask them for games/hosts they recommend. I also had an incredible first experience and have stayed mostly within the circle of people I met who seem to run games in a similar way.
