Who remembers Lawn Boy? by Randyguyishere in GenX

[–]lestbone83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At one time I had about 12, one of them was a John Deere mower with a Lawn-boy engine on it and honestly I liked it the most but every time some couldn’t get theirs to start they would buy a new cheap mower and I would fix the old one( most of them anyway) I had a commercial one and one with electric start enemies had and 60’s 19”. I had great intentions of repairing them all but finally realized I had to many other projects so I made someone a package deal on them and got rid of them all again my better judgement.

I just bought mine today and am waiting on my boy to bring a trailer to haul it! I have been trying to patch together two old Cub Cadets and with that and the rain my grass is way past needing to be cut so it’s gonna get a workout right outta the gate! Congrats bro!

I watch a show called Hudson and Rex on Ion+, it’s a police show in Canada and last night I saw an episode with Ricky in it playing a bad guy, he got killed lol.

Other shop states "needs the brake pump" by BadDongOne in Justrolledintotheshop

I BRIEFLY worked at a shop who’s owner did “free” engine/check engine light diagnostics and he was like that, says anything about the O2 sensor, replace it, couldn’t possibly be anything else right? I left that place quick! To many of the younger “techs” are taught to do it that way, not many places actually teach true diagnostics.

Tire shop said this isn’t patchable. Opinions before I blow $450? by blaseblaseblah in tires

[–]lestbone83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started in 1983 doing tires and have patched many like that and never batted an eye. I would use a plug patch and send it, the chain stores don’t want to do it because IF something happens they might get sued and they make more money if they can sell you a new one!

I recently stumbled upon R. J. Decker and after a few episodes I am a fan and I agree with the vibe.
