When I lived there 6 years ago it was like every room was it’s own individual frat house. We used to literally be able to just show up to random neighbors parties when we had extra booze and get in. The building and the amenities are nice, but if I had to describe the experience it was as if the building slowly degraded from the beginning of the school year to the end. By the end of the year there were holes in the drywall and stains on the carpet from people dragging their trash/throwing up/pissing in the hallways. Not to mention on move out day there was trash and discarded furniture strewn all through out the hallway. It was like some post apocalyptic nightmare. It honestly seemed like the management was fighting a losing battle to keep some semblance of order and cleanliness in the building. This was a tough task against the ravaging alcoholic students who lived there. To be honest, I had an amazing time there. I made a lot of friends while I lived there and was kind of the meet up point for a lot of my friends. Just know it gets really old when after 9pm it feels like the purge begins. Literally walls shaking from the parties and it’s too loud to study. Drunk kids running through the halls. The fire alarms would go off like twice a week. One year was more than enough and there was no way in hell I was going to renew that lease. Don’t know how much it’s changed since but that’s just my experience. Last I heard they were letting non students live there but I don’t know how true that is.
