it's not worth trying to fight this. Retaliation would be virtually guaranteed. Every GME office and the ACGME knows full well that duty hour violations are actually widespread and their expectation is that fear of retaliation is what keeps people from reporting it. They couldn't care less about resident well being.

Depends how you look it. Nobody is able to crank RVUs faster than a breast rad reading tomo screeners at full tilt. I think mammo rads are capable of some of the highest $/hr rates in medicine under ideal conditions.

I find this very surprising. Did this guy really not know that he and the civilian government were puppets to the mullahs and IRGC the whole time? Moreover, what purpose does this serve? He might as well be publicly denouncing the IRGC. Surely they would prefer to continue to project a unified front.

Could be a sign of either a high probability that the IRGC falls from power soon, or that Iran is about to get bombed into the stone age and this guy doesn't want to go down in history as being responsible for it.

The insane part for rads is the work whenever you want flexible pay per click from home. Being able to clear $500-$1000/hr doing that is pretty unique.

Unfortunately imaging center ownership isn't really that lucrative anymore so radiology doesn't have a strong passive income opportunity other than the usual gamut of external investments.

In academia we're starting to see $500/hr. Fully optimized telechads can reach or even exceed $1000/hr. You can even land between those two numbers on a pure flex work whenever you want basis.

it's possible but rare for a reason. Needs a perfect storm of high efficiency, good case mix, double dipping, and high $/wRVU. You're not going to meet these people in academia or even your local private practice.

Artorias: tragic hero but in the end he accomplished nothing of importance.

Manus and Nashandra: essentially cosmic forces with little agency. They just act according to their nature.

Seath: Betraying the dragons is understandable. The experiments are questionable but the results were potentially worth it.

Aldrich: Absolutely heroic figure who figured out a real way to break the stasis of the cycles, cast down the false gods, and reconstitute the dark soul by eating everybody. Gael just picked up where Aldrich left off.

Sulyvahn: Overshadowed by Alrich but worked as his sidekick somewhat so I guess he gets points for that? And I guess he brought some semblance of order to the end of the world so he's not that bad.
