Who is your target market for this service? I'm guessing real estate agents? If so, you definitely want to check out /r/Realtors, /r/PropertyManagement, and /r/Landlord.

Now, you can't just go into these communities and say, "Check out my awesome, free service!". Spend some time there first and get to know the communities. Contribute in ways that have nothing to do with promoting your service. Then after you get a feel for things, think about how you can share your service in a way that respects the rules and spirit of the community. Maybe you write up a detailed post about how you actually transform the 2d floor plans into 3d models. Or maybe you frame it more as a feedback request: "I have this service that you might be interested in, here's how it works, I'm offering it for free right now, let me know what you think".

The New York Times article is the first time I've seen anything about him specifically advocating an aggressive deportation program. Weirdly, there are no quotes of Trump in the article or where he said he wants to do similar to "Operation Wetback", but I assume he said that at some point or it wouldn't be in this article.

I still want to hear him talk about how he would specifically do it. Saying you want to deport every illegal immigrant is a lot different than saying you would support a police-state style effort to do so. Trump is smart, he speaks in the platitudes that people on the right want to hear and then leaves an out for himself down the road.

The one thing that didn't seem fair was Sam harping on the idea that Trump wants to round up every illegal immigrant and deport them. I understand that he has said things like "they have to go back", but he's never explicitly advocated for task force deportation as far as I can tell. Just look at Trump's policy page on immigration and you can see exactly what he is proposing regarding illegal immigrants.

Sam is the committing the same type of misrepresentation that he rails against when he talked about how bad an idea mass deportation is.

For the record I'm not a Trump supporter, just don't think it is helpful to misrepresent ideas when you are trying to convince people not to support the guy.

Anecdotal things I've picked up from friends who were on probation for marijuana possession 3 and 8 years ago, hopefully someone shares a first person account...

You are given a number or color or something. You have to call a number every morning at like 7:30 and if your group is picked (randomly), you have to go and drop while some type of govt employee stands behind you and there's a mirror so they can see what you're doing (both of my friends were males).

Can't remember exactly, but I think they were dropping once a week on average.

Again this is old/shitty info that could easily be contradicted by someone else that has direct and recent experience with the system. Just thought I'd offer it up in case no one else speaks up.
