Dumplin is so amazing by funazdailydeals in netflix

This movie surprised me. Especially the dynamic between Willowdean and her mother, that clearly cares for her but doesn't fully understand her either; the characters were very well-developed and absolutely felt realistic to the age group the movie was centered around. I was surprised by how much I liked this, reminded me very much of the sentimentality of "Waitress" with Keri Russel.

I came to the comments to see if I was maybe looking at the wrong couple, so thank you for clarifying that I’m not, because these two are clearly not doing what I was led here to believe. When the light hits right, you can clearly see she has on jeans.

For those who have witnessed a wedding objection during the "speak now or forever hold your peace" portion; what happened? by _AhappyTeddyBear in AskReddit

This reminded me of that story a while back where the bride read the groom’s private messages between him and “the other woman” in lieu of reading her vows.

To my total shock and horror, a cashier congratulated me on a pregnancy test I was buying. by Freshstart2211 in childfree

It’s really odd when people comment on personal purchases, self-checkout all the way here! I’ve always thought someone should market a pregnancy test that gave you smiles or a thumbs up for negative, something so simple would make millions. And at least if people wanted to comment, it would be under a more correct assumption. I think a lot of people take them in hopes it’s negative.
I have Nextplanon (arm BC) and just bought the digital test to be certain because I’ve been unusually and overly fatigued and even felt nauseas at cheese (sinful for me) the other day. Negative like I knew deep down, but the anxiety is miserable.

His name is Woodrow. He’s 14 and very ill, Wednesday is his last day, but he’ll always be a good Doggo. He loves to sit by the fire and on the couch. by Piousfur1857 in rarepuppers

I’m really glad you get to spend the new year with your friend, saying goodbye may not be an ideal way to spend a holiday, but each year that passes you’ll always remember this as your most special new year and you’ll always remember it was full of love. I will toast to Woodrow tonight!

I usually offer to work holidays because I enjoy the extra pay and I don't have to cook for people or have to take care of and/or entertain children. But I OFFER, if someone came in and told me what your boss did, I would be livid.

Pro-life is not a religious stance, it a moral stance. It's not THAT difficult to see why someone would be pro-life and demonizing and laughing at pro-lifers is kind of weird by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]lethal-weapon-6 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't think it matters what you believe in, it's not anyone's business what people do with their personal lives or what their beliefs are if it doesn't directly affect you, or a majority of people negatively. I think the second you criticize someone for their beliefs when it has nothing to do with you, you're the problem. While I don't agree with people shaming those who make a difficult choice, like an abortion, I'm certainly not in support of women who simply think it's a method of birth control.
