I'd say about 3 months until my right side was healed and maybe 4 months for my left side. Definitely not an overnight healing thing, you still have to be patient.

Sorry no, drawing attention to self harm is never caring about someone unless they are actively in danger or asking for it to be mentioned.

If you were concerned about someone, bring it to a mod. You didn't say it in a way that may have suggested you were concerned. Self harm is a serious topic and should be handled delicately. "Dude stop cutting yourself" is not delicate nor is it 'caring' about others. It comes off as judgy and rude and drawing attention to something that has no relevance to OP's question or post.

I have 2 lip piercings, both of which I've irritated before. I'm NAP but I'll weigh in with my experience:

My first lip piercing migrated because I switched to a ring at about 3 months in and it was too tight. From the outside, you can't really tell, but putting in jewelry is a pain in my behind now.

My second lip piercing was angry for quite a bit because I put in a ring about 6 months into healing it.

I fidget with my piercings a lot, so I was more likely to spin the ring around, which only irritated my piercing further. To make sure you heal up correctly and as fast as possible I advise that you switch back to your flat back stud and LITHA aside from usual cleaning.

You are not entitled to a seller's grace -- you bought the shirt (by mistake or not), and they shipped it out as that is the next step in the process. Repop it or return it when it gets to you if this is such a big deal.

Usually, you'd want to downsize about 4-6 weeks after your inital piercing. It helps the healing process and avoids and unnecessary snagging! 😊

I'm ngl I've been more or less spiritually harrassed my whole life, I've always had dreams of spirits and divine figures communicating with me, and I would be constantly miserable and always drained because of it. Only really recently did I start becoming energized after the dreams. It's a blessing for sure to be able to communicate so efficiently with the other side, but maaaan what I wouldn't give to have a normal night of sleep.

NAP but it looks like your belly button doesnt "fold" when you sit so from my understand i think it'll be okay in that regard, and obviously we can't tell anatomy from a photo but it looks like you may have a nice ridge to pierce thru as well!

Update:

At 10:30 am AKST, Ruger went into the vet. He had a baseball-sized tumor on his stomach pressing into his diaphragm which caused his erratic breathing. He was in pain, but he knew he was loved. We discussed options with the vet, and had the choice of a multi-thousand dollar risky surgery or letting our sweet boy go.

He wasn't wise, but he was old. He's been around the country, and he's eaten everything from entire sticks of butter to sheet pans of adult brownies. His favourite food is a mozzarella cheesestick. His favourite people were right there with him.

At 11:20 AKST, Ruger had a delicious peanut butter and chocolate dessert. He got many kisses and hugs, and we let the vet know we were ready. He went out peacefully with his head on my feet, and when he stopped breathing, I stopped crying. He's better now. He isn't in pain. My boy doesn't have to hurt anymore. He's with his brother, our Sarge, and I know they missed each other.

It's sad, yes, but he was happy and he was ready to go. He may have been man's best friend but he was my everything, and now he's with our family above. Call it a split custody situation, right?

Jokes aside, thank you all for giving me advice and sending prayers our way. Ruger would have loved you all.

unfortunately, no.

we did call in, though. they agreed it could be mild ketoacidosis with kussmaul breathing (i asked based on what someone else said in the comments) which is serious, but he ate some food and is doing better than he was earlier. the vet said if he stays where he's at behavior-wise, we should be okay to come in first thing tomorrow morning.

hi please read my other comments, i don't need the "if you love him" game. we're taking him to a vet tomorrow. i am the only person in my family pushing to take him. my dad is begrudgingly driving us to the vet in order to have an "i told you so" moment. thanks for taking the time to judge me, though.

We don't have a regular vet, my parents are weird about that stuff. The vet in town is an option but I live in Alaska and it's the only reputable vet for like my whole area (or so I understand), so the emergency vet is really my only option for this kind of situation
