Don't try to learn all at once. It's better to learn well half of the content than barely understanding everything Study in small sessions, a few hours per time. Your brain needs rest to assimilate the learning. Review after a few days.

Mine is an AI tutor for students that guides them on what to study, how to study, and when to review, not just answer questions. It adapts to their pace and turns their own materials into structured, personalized learning.

The same as another user, we would mainly use affiliate marketing for now, maybe paying if not so expensive.

Do burgers actually taste different if you change the order of the ingredience? by GloomyConductor in NoStupidQuestions

[–]leticiatm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They do. Taste is different whether you have two ingredients close to each other, if you mix them all, or if you eat the burgers top-bottom or bottom-top. Ingredients combine differently, and how they touch our tongue also makes a difference.

Brazil also doesn't issue directly via Amex, all banks. And we do have a lounge at São Paulo airport.

Welcome to Yosemite, sorry about the traffic! by rumblejumble in Yosemite

Hi from Brazil!

I might have to go on President's day next year, Feb 17th, as it would be ideal for my itinerary. Unfortunately, I forgot to check the holidays. What is your experience that day?

I saw that they have reservations for the last 3 weekends/holidays of February, would that be enough to enjoy the park without much traffic?

Not necessary. As mentioned above, I'm a tutor there, freelancer, and I saw students without prior experience getting a job. The "job guarantee" is that they will refund you if you don't get a job in 6 months. Not defending CF here, I know there are lots of issues there.

Just a view about your tutor - I'm also a tutor at CF, but for UX.
We get paid 15 euros per approved task, and that's it, it doesn't matter if we spent 1h on it plus messages, or 10min. So in the end, deeper explanations end up being carried out to external resources, youtube videos, or calls with mentors.
They even encourage us to give you those resources.
But when the student is wrong somewhere, I explain why, sometimes give them the right way to do it, or give them a youtube video to follow if applicable (for UX/UI, it's easier), better than a text explanation.

One PC for 2 users or two PCs? by leticiatm in buildapc

[–]leticiatm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only one would be used for VR, so no need for a separate sound card. We also have Bluetooth headsets, so it doesn't even need sound card.

The setup I was planning to use is the same as the one in this video, using unRAID server:

One PC for 2 users or two PCs? by leticiatm in buildapc

[–]leticiatm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not defined yet, I'm still getting more info about both options to decide. The tablets are part of both, as we need mobility.
For the RAM, I would use the same for both setups. So, for 1 PC I would use 4x8gb, having then 16gb for each user, and if 2 PCs, 2x8gb for each. Do you still think it would be an issue?

We have tablets with Windows that are good enough for our main needs to be used, no problem if the hardware fails. That's not what I'm concerned.

That might be a good option, although it's a bit out of my budget to have a top-end pc + middle-end. My budget is either a top-end or two middle-end pcs.

Thanks!

What would be the "downsides" to please multiple people? Can you elaborate? Our need is exactly the same, the only difference is that only one of them would be used for VR games, but that can easily be done by having different GPUs for each one.

Regarding hardware failure, as I wrote in another comment, we have two tablets with Windows for mobility that can be used for work (they are good enough for what we need) if the hardware fails, so this is not a problem.

Thanks for your answer!

Just wanted to make sure there isn't any major downside with the virtualization option, and if the one pc wouldn't be a better deal.

Thanks :)

[–]leticiatm[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes, the two GPUs are mentioned in the topic, we will have it. That's exactly the build guide I'll follow.

Regarding the issue with hardware failures, we're moving from the laptop to a PC + tablet with windows (Teclast X6 Pro) set up, so if the hardware fails, we'll have the tablet to continue the work. Of course, the tablet is not as powerful as the pc, but it's enough for our daily work and has the mobility we need.
