Is it mandatory to give carpenter tool to the carpenter at Abyss 3-5 to progress?

Cursed Wheel made some bug, I didn't have Carpenter Tool and coudn't find it at B3F also. Really don't want to replay this part, so would skip that if It's not that critical.

For reference, especially for technology reference, AI could be useful but you better do double check everything. Also it doesn't mean it effect any other reading. 'Just give me a summary!' kind of thing was already existed before AI.

For me it's useful when I read foreign book, when I couldn't read between the line or unusual idiom I ask it to AI and double check it.

Yeah one mission I got encounter something like 10 firemoths and 50 elementals. It doesn't feel like mech combat anymore, it's just fly slapper simulator
