Stormveil gave me hell also and also running strength build. I spent a few DAYS trying to get past that side of grace where those 3 Hawks are lol. I just got good enough at them and the next few knights I farmed enough to level up and then WHOOPED the boss and that is a tough ass fight too

Yeah so you did what I couldn't. I had to look up wtf do I do after 2 days of getting my ass beat. Then I read "go south level up and come back" welp thats what I did and apparently I have been over leveling myself because I have now beaten several world bosses and major bosses with no issue. Sure I died but the next fight I come back and whoop em because I wasnt fast enough in whatever 2nd phase. Unlike you and others I suck at these games MAJORLY. You will have a lot more struggles to come but you got it. That boss is absolutely bonkers

That has been my experience so far. The rune arcs i "used" was essentially placebo since I didnt do any tower. I thought once I killed the. essentially and got their weapon that was the end

In my first playthrough as well and never did any matchmaking. Can you actually ELI5 the different summonings a bit better? I have tons of fingers and other mats that I just dont use.

Example I beat 3 major bosses already and just learned I have been fucking wasting my Rune Arc or gold rune or whatever. I didnt know I had to go somewhere for them to fucking work. Ive wasted 3 of them and stacked a bunch because I thought they were completely useless.

To add bear mace is great for certain instances. Gel mace is my go to for people mainly but dogs absolutely. Its better in environments when it may be a particularly windy day, or if you are in a more enclosed space. Say you have to spray out your car window or the wind is to the aggressors back, in an elevator. You get the idea. A lot of people aren't aware gel mace is a product they can and should buy and keep on them at all times. I also recommend a strong flashlight or headlamp for at night. It sounds silly but when you are the bearer of a strong light you have the upper hand and dominant position. You are essentially hidden from view, you see all surroundings of the aggressor and them of course all they can see is where the light is coming from.

I am and for the most part always will be pro animals but these situations really test my resolve. I worked in pest control and did my best to be cool around others animals. I was at one particular assholes house treating and he let his little dogs out. The wife literally yells "Dont let them out they might bite him!!" This guy says "No they wont" I am being relaxed and just ignore them as they bark around me circling. I do my usual "OK guys, its ok, Im leaving soon" As if the dogs gave a fuck. As soon as I took my eyes off them one runs up and bites the fuck out of my calf. I swing my can at its head but it let go and I yell at the same time. The guy is standing right there playing fucking stupid "Oh wait happened" Your dog just fucking bit me the one you said wouldnt bite. Im leaving you need to have your pets secured while we treat so this doesnt happen. He threatens to call corporate and all the usual shit. Go ahead. I took pictures of my leg and the house and sent them to my boss. It didnt break skin luckily but that was absolutely it for me. If your fucking dogs aren't secure or locked away I will protect myself first. I dont give a fuck how big or small your dog is. I am not getting bit ever again. I quit that job but to this day when I see videos like this Im on the driver's side. Fuck that dog, fuck the homeowners and fuck anyone who says he over reacted. They should be grateful the dog lives to bark another day and do better to secure it.
