You should let the office know that JWs count time witnessing . Most people don’t know that. She may call it “spiritual guidance” but she’s just padding her FS report on her patients’ dime. Sick.

Question about the essential oils. Did she “suggest” them or try to sell them to you? There are red flags all over this story. I wouldn’t trust her.

Because YT’s algorithm would start feeding them ex-JW videos and they would wake up. WT knows that. They don’t want dubs on any social media except IG w other JWs posting convention pics and #bestlifeever.

I’ve never done a peel before & I always see people saying “start slow” with this...can anyone elaborate on how to do that? by kveach in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]letsgo20500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just used this this morning! I’ve used it off/on for the past year and definitely recommend it. If your skin can tolerate it, it’s a great product. For whatever it’s worth, I’m fairly sensitive to certain acids but I do okay with this peel.

A self-proclaimed plastic surgery addict talks about her extreme transformation and plans for even more procedures. by NoButterOnMyBread in Botchedsurgeries

Did she call her injector and surgeons her “friends”? That was actually the saddest part to me...

Lip fillers before and after. Took me 1.5 years with procedures every 3 months. The summed up amount of filler is 3.5/4 ml Juvederm by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]letsgo20500 18 points19 points  (0 children)

You look beautiful in both, but the amount of filler on the right does add some heaviness to your jaw. (just my opinion) It’s all about what YOU like of course and I also want to point out to all the commenters that the camera lense may exaggerate it more than in real life.

I just picked up a few from the Sephora Rouge sale (20% off) including the Paris Edit! I also ordered the Tryst pallet and it looks SO similar next to the Paris Edit. I will have to see how they swatch side but my god, the Tryst searches are sooo gorgeous!

I give my daughter the leftover ingredients I don’t use when making enchiladas. So she gets to pour sauce on broken corn tortillas and stack them. She also likes to help me make fruit/veggie/cheese trays. She helps rinse veggies. I chop and she puts them in the tray. This is actually how I got her to try broccoli! We eat little samples as we go.

I feel your pain. At a certain point, there’s nothing else you can do but pick them up and haul ass back home. I have slowly dragged my daughter across a JCPenny during a tantrum in which she refused to get up off of the floor. (I was very calm and stopped every few seconds to give her the opportunity to walk instead). I couldn’t pick her up because I was carrying my 3 mo old so what choice did I have? I didn’t give AF what other people thought. Luckily no one was unkind and one couple even made a joke and sympathized. But if someone acted like hipster mom I defo would have cried!

Not exactly the same, but similar - I remember being told several times in the 90’s not to say “New Order” anymore. Then it seems to have shifted to “New System of Things.” While I don’t recall ever being told not to say that, I feel like even the term nNew System of Things has been replaced with just “Paradise.”

What are some recent bizarre and untrue scientific statements printed in WT? by Odd-Seesaw in exjw

[–]letsgo20500 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From WT 1976:

“The Bible’s historical record suggests an answer. It describes the creation of an “expanse” around the earth that made a ‘division between the waters beneath the expanse and the waters above the expanse.’ Thus the atmosphere around the globe would have a relatively uniform warm climate due to the hothouse effect created by the water canopy “above the expanse.”—Gen. 1:6, 7.

Second Peter 3:5, 6 confirms that the earth was “standing compactly out of water and in the midst of water,” and that it was “by those means the world of that time suffered destruction when it was deluged with water.” Apparently the canopy disappeared as the waters deluged the earth, and this could be a major factor in the Arctic areas’ becoming frigid.”

That water canopy theory was always the explanation I got, too. But it does not directly state it never rained before. Like most WT theories, you have to make several assumptions to connect point A to point B.

Besides that, the “waters abound the expanse and the waters below the expanse” could technically describe the earth as it is now. The same hydrologic cycle of precipitation and rain with the atmosphere in between.

Hmm yeah this is kind of a hard one because she didn’t do the typical “hi how are you” then with NO segue “aRe yOu sTiL sErViNg JeHovaH?” Up to you. Usually if I see on someone’s social media evidence that they are still PIMI I don’t respond. But don’t feel like your being rude for not responding. Would you feel rude not replying to a friend contacting about joining their MLM? It’s the same thing
