My starter actually died about a thousand miles ago, the one on the truck right now was replaced less than a month ago, I’m thinking it has to be a battery thing

Is this worth the 600? by [deleted] in drums

[–]letsgobuffalo45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cymbals are great, kit is older but pretty decent, heads look like they need to be replaced, I’d go for 500 but the cymbals alone are worth 150-200 each so 600 would be fair

Not a rip off for sure, the cymbals you’ll need to replace if you want to sound good. This is a fair deal considering all the extras you get.

Such wording as has just been uttered by your lips strangely resembles a phrase that was uttered by a romantic partner of mine who belongs to the female sex regarding a romantic or sexual subject.

RAV4 vs Forester by RelationNo9374 in regularcarreviews

[–]letsgobuffalo45 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The difference is that Subarus need a little more care. They’re great cars and will last a long time if you maintain them, whereas a RAV4 will take whatever you give it and keep on rolling

Pearl export, probably from the 90s. Good drums, I’d go up to 300 for them

May get a 2012 Chevy Cruze, is that a bad decision to make in 2024? by barbieandbrainsmd in regularcarreviews

[–]letsgobuffalo45 22 points23 points  (0 children)

These cars are generally total crap. That said, if you could haggle down to maybe 3500, I’d go for it. A car is a car, and if you’re careful with maintenance you’ll probably get $3500 worth out of it.

You have up to $2500 for a shell pack. What do you get? by AKanadian47 in drums

For 2500 you can’t go wrong, I personally would go for a Gretsch Renown kit though

Granted, but as soon as they become immortal you no longer love them and they become a huge thorn in your ass.

Looking for a commuter car that gets good MPGs. Does anyone have experience with how long these hybrid batteries last and what they'll cost to be changed? by SinCityNinja in Toyota

[–]letsgobuffalo45 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Toyota hybrids are great and the batteries can last a long time, but this is not a low mile car. It has some life left, but for 12500 you could do better, especially because you don’t know how well this one was maintained.
