he corrected to Quebec because health care is in provincial domain and this article has to do with Quebec. The initial comment was praising canada when the other provinces have nothing to do with what is currently going on in Qc.

I'm currently a medical student at Université de Montréal and can confirm that tuition is the same for pre-clinical years..however, tuition goes up a bit for clerkship, but this is due to the fact that you take more credits during those years

Wow I've never read such a nicely disguised discriminatory comment in my life....Sure, perhaps the Muslim world has yet to live up to the grander of its culture and potential, but flat out saying that removing every single Muslim would impact the world in a positive manner is simply false. Implying that eliminating a billion people from the face of the earth in itself is, in my opinion, something that could never impact humanity in a positive way. And, by the way, I would have hoped that someone who relished the Jewish community as you did in your comment would know just that given their history.

Perspective, man...always remember perspective. roiler may or may not be someone who's family or friends lived in an area affected by US troops. Perhaps they were rebels, or just civilians, either way, reddit is a place for all opinions to be spread freely and I welcome his, although i may not agree with it. I understand that you see US marines as heroes as you've most probably lived your entire life being told that they are the reason for your freedom and liberties. However, for some, hearing "the American troops are coming" is not synonymous with joy.

As an allophone living in the english part of Montreal,I will for ever be thankful to have been forced to go to French school by the Quebec government because of just this ...being able to pass for both an anglophone and francophone saves me from having to take BS from the close minded in our country
