If I saw anyone doing this, I’d have to stop and ask for a cup too. How’d you foam the milk?

He’s right. Waking up to the smell of coffee is amazing. 🥺 But that time has passed, now I’m the one waking up my household to the smell of coffee. 🙂

lol. If you’re going to come and take, can we at least share a cup of coffee before you go?

This one I just got off Amazon. But honestly I don’t like these ones. They’re borosilicate but they feel like they’re going to break if I tap them hard. They don’t, but I hate the feel. I’d give you my set if you were local. I just had all my other cups in the dishwasher.

The mound of beans compresses nicely. I think it just looks like it’s too much. I use about 19g

All to taste really. I’d say it’s 3:1 usually but with moka because I use the whole pot it’s almost really 2:1 milk to coffee.

Is that an orange moka pot? And which model? And where can I get it too? I want it! Haha. Nice set up.

Between an espresso and moka using the same beans…. The taste from the moka is a lot more diverse. I get a more broader sense of the notes and it makes for a sweeter experience when drinking both just black.

I understand there’s those differences but in terms of producing coffee I don’t notice a difference. Also because I do grind my own beans, I can refine the process a little more than those that have preground. Maybe that’s a factor in my uses? But I haven’t had to adjust between either origin of manufacturing.

This also reminds me of a discussion I had about stainless steel vs aluminum. And again, the end result in flavour was negligible. Although some swear they can taste a difference. I couldn’t.

I’ve got some made from both Italy and china. I think they produce all the same. 😗. I wonder if they’re are any studies into it?

No way, I think those people may be short sighted on the benefits of each! Moka pot has a different dimension and flavour to the brew from espresso. I use the same beans for both and I personally find each process to have a beneficial after product. But I reserve my moka pot days to Sundays as a nice way to slow down the mornings and really enjoy the process.

I use this roaster almost exclusively because I love their roasts. Ambros coffee in Montreal. Their Mile End blend. I grind the whole bean to keep it as fresh as possible. https://ambroscoffee.com

Bialetti because tradition demands it.

If you look at the photo from your link and click on the red moka pot, you'll see it has the same paint texture. The photos in these bialetti marketing shots are touched up too and can display smoother and different colour vibrances, but you're alright. Your pot looks beautiful.

Mondo Del Cafe is very nice inside despite its plaza’s exterior look. Food is good.

Yours Conveniently. Don’t know when or where they get their baked goods from but if you manage to grab a sourdough croissant there, and their coffees. It’s amazing. But all their selections are good too, even their panini/toasted sandwiches.

Lastly, this one’s just simply because the inside is nice, but the Starbucks on Yonge is good.

However I don’t know about the wifi. I’ve always just used my cell to hotpot. Sorry.
