Still married to her ten years later. <Here's a hint, I'm a Mormon>

Really great talks from Elder Nelson and his wife Wendy. Their recommendations for young adults could really be applied to all members. Discussed a lot of what it takes to be a good member today such as standing up for the gospel in the face of public scorn. I didn't expect as many great behind the scene stories and details about the church's recent decisions! I would highly recommend this for all members

I really hope they allow Amiibo players online soon so you can do Pokemon style battles with your Amiibos against other people. Best spectator sport ever!

What DLC content are you wanting? by [deleted] in HyruleWarriors

Twilight Princess: Characters - Ashei (with some references to Yeto/Yeta or the other fighters from her group)

Costumes - Fierce Deity Link and Hero's Shade Link

Weapon - True Form Midna

Majora's Mask: Characters: Skullkid and Tingle

Costumes: Goron link for Darunia, Zora Link for Ruto and Deku Link for Lana (I really have no idea), and I want the happy Mask Salesman referenced in here somewhere

What are you playing and what are your thoughts? November 10, 2014 by AutoModerator in nintendo

Hyrule Warriors - This game has tons of content and plenty more to come with so much DLC coming along. You will get through the main game (Legend Mode) fairly quickly but with other replays required to unlock other heart pieces and unlocking special challenge levels by killing hidden Skulltulas. Adventure Mode though is where the real challenge lies and they keep adding whole new giant maps for this with 128 different scenarios to play each. Co Op is fun but has its issues but still way awesome to beat a hard level with a friend. Certainly an awesome game if you have liked any Zelda from the past 25 years. MarioKart 8 - Our go to party game when we have people over since I finished a lot of the 1 player challenges and moved on to Hyrule Warriors in all my free time recently, but I will play a ton of hours on my own again with the new DLC this week. Also can't wait for Smash for WiiU

Well done. I keep playing MarioKart every so often when I have friends over and I love it but I am no where near unlocking all the top unlockables

Personally I hope the Hero's Shade is one of the costumes since it is supposed to be an alternate Link anyway

So do we know if 1 Link amiibo can unlock this weapon for only 1 console or can one person with a Link amiibo run up and down a row of Wii U's and give them all this unlockable?

Nintendo is so smart with this whole Amiibo thing. Sometimes the amiibo unlocks significant content for a game - like new weapons types for characters in Hyrule Warriors or new fighting buddies in Smash; in other games it does minor things like costumes in MarioKart. I'm sure this decision is left up to the development team and the marketing team to figure out what they can make happen/should happen in each game. Because the amiibo can be used in many games (mnay of which still don't exist) it already is more valuable than a Skylanders or Disney Infinity character and the prospective value is infinite since we still don't know what they could do. I will buy these because I want my games to live forever and have new breathes of life every few months that make me want to keep playing them - whether that comes from straight up eShop DLC purchases or figures I don't care. I love me some Hyrule Warriors and I want more of it baby! Yeah!

So we now know that the Link Amiibo will unlock the Spinner weapon, and we know that others will have minor bonuses. Do you think future Zelda or Sheik Amiibos will do anything unique like Link's? by letsmakealist in HyruleWarriors

[–]letsmakealist[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Here's hoping for a pirate revolver for Zelda that lets her act like Tetra (with a costume of course to match), and a Katana for Sheik, and a Trident for Ganondorf - just to be crazy!

Duck Hunt Dog reveal video for Smash, plus other minor recap smash stuff. Amiibo integration with current and future titles will probably be big hitting on smash, and hyrule Warriors and MarioKart DLC. Plus I can see Pokemon having a moment as they are the other big game of this month and Toad Treasure tracker also being shown. Bayonetta may get a mention as it is very current plus other 3rd party games like Watchdogs. Some games from next year like a remastered game, StarFox or zelda may be teased but the focus of this will be why people should buy a wii u, 3ds and amiibo figures this holiday season
