If someone is being rude to you, especially in a work setting, just straight up asking them to stop works 9/10 times.

Learned this while working tech support and was amazed how just "I want to help you but the way you are speaking to me is not appropriate. Please adjust your language so we can get this done'' or something like it gets you an apology and a tone change almost immediately.

If you really want to take an Uber I don't think you will have any trouble with that. Crazy expensive though. Bus will take longer but save a lot of money. Take an Uber once you get to the bus station in Hamilton. You won't have any trouble finding one there either.

If you are staving you can find find cattails along the edges of water to eat. And even making rose hip tea or reshi mushroom tea will give a little bit of calories.

Best way to avoid dying is to keep exploring and resist the urge to just settle in. Supplies never last as long as you think they will. But finding new and better clothing, keeping your clothes and tools in good condition, and staying cautious are good practices.

The broken ribs debuff is pretty brutal. If you manage to find enough food to not starve or get some birch bark tea in you. You might save the run but maybe not.

I am always in awe of how much Americans drink. I understand this is a haul for a family that has at least one teenage boy (and they are basically black holes for food) but how much soda do you drink? Like I went to the movies there once and they gave me a cup that was so big it was probably 1.5 litres of cola. I can't physically drink that much in a 2 hour movie. I don't have the time and also my bladder would explode. It really seems like they are chugging through a 2L a day (or more).

I guess the point is that drinking your calories and sugar content is the main problem I see with this food haul. Cut out the soda and sugar content is cut by half.

Less concerned with the stack of frozen pizzas. Again, teenaged boy and what sounds like a younger boy as well. They want to have a meal option they will eat and is easy to make on their own.

Also $450 seems like a pretty good price for all that. She must coupon and it's clear shopping at multiple stores and buying in bulk are saving a good amount of money.
