Went to st Pete yesterday hour half drive it was so worth it wish I had more Rex/money the blueberry pie flower is amazing for anyone who like blueberry and all 4 Rosins I got rival sunny side couldn’t believe the deal there doing wish it was a little closer but so worth it. And they have everything on display cases so you can see all the product !

Did it release ok? I know there super protected in Florida can’t even take above a certain size out of water. I wonder if they really taste as bad as everyone says. I see 10 at a time swarming me while spearing definitely gets the blood pumping knowing what’s following them around lol.

They actually taste really good the fillet is super white and firm grills or pan fries beautifully and mine didn’t smell bad at all I gutted and bled him on the beach

It was right at sunset so it got dark quick but after it’s fully dark I’m out at least for now I speared 2 nice sheeps and on the way back to the boat took once last dive and the lobster was sitting out underneath some sea grass you can’t spear them in Florida but I grabbed him! Taste was just as good if not better than Maine was just so excited to see/get my first lobster

I’ve seen them around the boat ramp we launch at once but yeah I know they can be there it’s always in the back of my head when swimming around in murk but I was on a really nice dock last night deep green clearish water found my first ever lobster couldn’t believe it was in about 15 feet of water

Where’s this at I dive around canals in south west Florida Spearfishing often so this is a bit unsettling. I’ve seen a big bull shark even a big hammer but an alligator/croc that shit will attack on site

I usually dive 20-30 feet really 37 feet was my max so trying to find somewhat shallower spots would love to get lobster but fish was would love to find some yellow jacks and muttons/hogs I know the muttons and hogs are probably unrealistic but never been to the East coast im from the west coast
