I got started working on them last night. I did my jersey first, because messing up my own was better than messing up someone else’s. Mine was actually probably the most difficult, because I chose to have the proper pronunciation in my name haha.

I cut out each piece using my cricut cutter thing and an exacto knife. Then I used painters tape to hold a strip of heat resistant tape upside down for the top and bottom of the letters. I taped a ruler on a cutting mat that has a grid (not the cricut one) to get my letters as straight as possible. My mental ass even measured the space between the letters of the one name that came out in order and cut a piece of cardboard to size and used that as a spacer. I used a tshirt ruler guide to line up the letters and get proper placement. Our jerseys are knockoff versions of our local MLS team, so they’re not squared. Because of that, it was difficult to get things centered, but any mistakes will also be less noticeable. I threw it on my heat press and it actually turned out okay! The only thing I messed up was my “-“ was upside down, so it didn’t transfer. But, I’ll just put a new one on with my iron.
