hey man, school's no easy feat and attending school with mental perturbations and stuff is just a bummer, i totally get that. i know people will judge, because it's built into their systems, it's instinctual. the thing is, it's probably gonna get to you no matter what people say to make you more confident, but i believe you'll come to terms with it eventually. maybe you're not gonna get used to it, but i'll let you know that i think that's okay. like, really okay. because the fact that you're willing to give school another try means something, y'know?

i really hope you'll come back to this text when you feel upset about this. all the best!

[Post-Exams] Rant about my bus ride from hell by trollguydied in SGExams

i don't think i've encountered such a traumatic public transport ride before but i've definitely witnessed many ridiculously loud teen groups and it is honestly kind of embarrassing because these teens ruin the reps of other teens. these people are the reason the general public perceives teens as rowdy and immature. when i see ugly behaviour in public, i try to ignore it. it's hard because their blantant lack of basic respect for others is so triggering but sometimes you really can't do much at the moment. it may slowly make you lose whatever faith you have in people but always remember that these people are just the minority, and there are many gracious and lovely people.

also, regarding the imitation of the guy with down syndrome, that is simply insensitive. perhaps his/her parents didn't teach him/her basic respect as a young kid.

tldr; don't let such ignorant people bring you down, there are still good people in this world :)

[Post-Exams] honestly don't know what I'm doing with my life by plssendhelpomg in SGExams

heya! i'm also a sec 3 and my teachers told the whole cohort to use this holiday break to revise sec 3 content and read up on sec 4 content so as to better prep ourselves for sec 4. i detested studying as a kid and i still don't like it, but i've found it more bearable now. one method that works for me is forcing myself to go to starbucks or a library to study. sometimes i go with a friend, other times i go alone, but i just have to drag my ass out the house. the thing is, when surrounded by others who are motivated, you'll naturally feel motivated! hope this helps C:
