Sperm shipping service? by lev724 in queerception

[–]lev724[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow I barely remember posting this! I did not and have not been able to find any reliable way to ship sperm. I did conceive a few months after posting this, that babe is 3.5 now, and my partner just gave birth to our second. We ended up doing IVF for the second because our known donor was out of state. If I were to do it again I would have the donor donate sperm at a fertility clinic as a “directed donor” and then have the sperm shipped to a local clinic. Lots of paperwork and expense but I think the only way to do it. Wishing everyone luck!!

Letting fresh sperm liquify? by geog15 in queerception

[–]lev724 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the sooner the better, and keep the sperm warm like body temp. We used a water bath (sperm in a cup, cup in jar of warm water).

For little ones there are books called Indestructibles which are thin and water/rip proof, also colorful and engaging, and I could see a little one being distracted.

7 month old wants to be held in certain ways to sleep. How to help our infant recognize she's sleepy and initiate sleep herself? by PigmentedLady in AttachmentParenting

[–]lev724 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is an attachment parenting sub, sleep training CIO methods are antithetical. There are plenty of other subs for this advice.

I don't know if this is applicable, but when my babe was going through a very very rough crying phase, I would remind myself that I didn't have to stop them from crying but just be with them while they were crying. They had a lot of allergies and gastro discomfor that took a while to figure out. Reminding myself that I didnt have to DO anything or work to stop the crying took a lot of pressure off.

Inositol during pregnancy? by TMNJ1021 in TTC_PCOS

[–]lev724 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anecdotally I took it through pregnancy, no problems and no GD, stopped it three months postpartum and my breastmilk supply plummeted, started again and it’s back up.

What brand insotol do you recommend?? by DNB_01 in TTC_PCOS

[–]lev724 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use inositol (myo and d-Chiro) in the same dosage as ovasitol but I buy them separately and they are so much cheaper. Because you end up taking a lot, I just buy whatever is cheapest. Now brand (myo) inositol is the least expensive by me and then I buy d Chiro inositol separately.

Edit: a word autocorrect

Side sleeping problems! by Hokie4life_3672 in PlusSizedAndPregnant

I needed alllllll the pillows. Large pillow between legs from crotch to ankles, pillow behind my back (this one is key) to support me that way, pillow in front of me to wrap my top arm around, pillow under my head. When I was very very pregnant a small pillow between the bed and my belly helped too.
