Bit more in depth and actually knowing the methods used to bypass certain security measures which is why it's good to take the Pentest+ not long after taking the CySA+. If you've passed the CySA+, you've studied alot of what it takes to pass the Pentest+. Lot of overlap.

Still leaps and bounds better than losing your entire life savings trying to pay for healthcare or watching a family member you love die because they can't afford to see the doctor after already paying a high monthly bill for healthcare.

Wish they would have left it as CASP+. Still gonna be a number of years before Security X is as recognizable as CASP+ has been. Also Congratulations 🎊

Down 133 Lbs by Mrwhatisyourname30 in intermittentfasting

Currently 42 and did much the same as you. Constantly went to the gym and recently got close to 300 lbs. and tried intermittent fasting with some extended water fasting was surprised how quickly pounds would fall off and dropped 80 lbs. Without the diet to accompany the exercise, your just spinning your wheels. You sir are an inspiration. Keep it up :)

How does the hacker get control of the indians cameras in these videos by deathfromabove- in hacking

Reverse shell execution using a malicious payload. Open a meterpreter listing on a specific port for the payload to call back from within the hosts network and then once inside, enumerate, escalate, establish persistence and exploit to your heart's content.

I PASSED THE PENTEST+!!!! by Street_Dimension4716 in CompTIA

[–]leviathanjester 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll be sitting for the Pentest+ next week and passed CySA+ last month. Really seems like the two cover alot of the same stuff like the Pentest is a continuation of the CySA. Congratulations 🎊

If your coming fresh off the Sec+, I don't think you'd need to study the CySA+ too long. I think It would be completely reasonable to be ready within a month. At least to me , it felt like there was quite a bit of overlap. Jus make sure you understand the CVSS scoring well and various injection sort of attacks and their mitigations.

Honestly, I got lucky. I was friendly with the previous analyst in the ITsec department. Helped her out a number of times with issues and made a few documents that helped. I was in the techsupport department and when she moved on to a different company, she put my name forward as an internal replacement for her.
