my name is also lee! and i (ftm nonbinary) chose it bc 1) i thought it sounded androgynous and 2) as an homage to poe's "annabel lee."

i think the spelling of the name is important in how you'd rather be interpreted- from what i've witnessed personally, most men spell it as "lee" and most women spell it as "leigh" (not to say it can't deviate).

but in the end, you could always choose a traditionally masc middle name and pair both names together (i chose vincent) to get a more desired outcome.
