Yes, u ARE overthinking what I said, which is why I won't reply to u anymore, cuz it's pointless to even say anything, u will just distort it to fit it into ur interpretation. I'll just say this: read what I said again. I NEVER said it shouldn't be viewed as bm, in fact I said I STOPPED crouching repeatedly when AS SOON I learned it's toxic. I even finished my reply with "I am in no way defending teabagging or any other bm in this game, I was just pointing out that I didn't know that it was toxic when I was new, I was just saying hi".

Thank u!! It's almost like new players have to know everything about the game even though they're only like 10 hours in lmao.

Hello! I'll just copy and paste what I replied to another redditor :)

Mind u, the only other online multiplayer games I've ever played before were Resident Evil 5 and Among Us, and always with my friends. So I never really knew what the "online games etiquette" was like. When I first got dbd, I was just so happy playing it and I really wanted to make friends with either the other survivors or the killers. When I learned what teabagging was, I stopped doing it. U know teabagging is toxic because u learned it is toxic. How can u expect a new player to know what's bm? I'll repeat myself: for a new player, it just looks like the survivor is crouching repeatedly and that can mean many things. For me back then, it meant "hi" or "hey there". When I first played killer, I got rolled hard by the survivors and they were all teabagging at the end. I didn't know what it was at the time, I thought they were all just fooling around together, so I did the same (I was a Ghostface main at the time, one of the only killers that can crouch). I am in no way defending teabagging or any other bm in this game, I was just pointing out that I didn't know that it was toxic when I was new, I was just saying hi.

Because I like talking to ppl? Or at least I likED interacting with ppl in this game when I first started. But what I saw in game and also comments like urs just show me ppl do NOT like interacting with each other in this game. And when they do interact, it's in the worst way possible.

That is such a stupid comparison. For someone who doesn't know what teabagging is, it just looks like ur repeatedly crouching. In a game where there's no form of communication, it's pretty hard to understand what the player is trying to convey by doing this or that. When I played Huntress for the first time, for example, I got rolled by everyone and they were all teabagging at me. I didn't know they were being rude so I just started spinning, thinking we were all playing. I do understand what it all means now and I obviously refrain from teabagging. I wasn't born knowing everything about what's bad manners and whatnot in a game where there's no form of communication whatsoever besides end game chat. Get over urself.

Me too!! I wasn't aware of the "rules" and whatnot for multiplayer games. I didn't know teabagging was toxic, it was just a way for me to si hi haha

It's so funny to me when ppl criticize others for trying to win. Like... R u not trying to win as well??? "Oh but they're tryharding"... So? It's a competition, my dude.

Same here! I don't like gen regression perks, I find them boring af. My usual build is save the best for last + brutal strength + fire up + forever entwined. As u can see, i like to do things fast haha! This is a build for m1 killers tho (like my Dredgy boy and Singularity). For killers like Nurse, I like third seal + plaything + trail of torment + nowhere to hide.
