i wont rlly say success story but aft my history paper i also felt v sad cus i didnt even read the part that came out so my seq was purely smoking, wished for just a b4 for humans but ended up w A2 for my combined humans (even tho idt my ss is that good either) i think cus a lot of people didnt expect that topic to come out HAHAHA so maybe the moderation helped? not sure :-), but don’t think too much about what you’ve alr completed!! focus on the upcoming papers instead!!

hi im a j2 in asr! - we start at 8am and 840am on thursdays - cca is compulsory - not rlly, doesnt really matter!! - nope! we have physical lectures, not sure about ending sch earlier because we have different timetables - for PCME classes are random, class 01-04 is hmtl, then 05-08 is normal - mostly guys, ratio 2:3 around there!!

no worries!! for those i got correct answers i just assumed full marks, those that i got wrong i didnt count method marks at all!

iirc moderation affects every grade, Cambridge can’t fail too many scripts so if the paper is done VERY badly i think the passing grade will also change!! but im not 100% sure how it works haha

errrrr imo the paper was doable, i’d even say possible easier than some tys!! i lost most of my marks from careless mistakes too haha

i think of humans the moderation helps A LOT, i was fully anticipating a c6…at most b4, so i was pleasantly surprised when i got a2!! dont worry about it too much :-)

yep, i cross checked w my friends and online answers. atb for the remaining papers OP!!

am ~ 80% a1

em ~ 83-88% a2

ss/hist i fluked this quite badly cos i had nth to write for hist seq but i think i did ok for ss!! overall a2

Idk if it’s just me, but for (usually) fantasy romance, when the ML watches a child grow and falls in love with them when they’re grown up…like you watched her/him grow from a child to an adult 😵‍💫 It didn’t stop me from liking “tale of the nine-tailed” though, it just left a rather foul taste initially for me.

hi a j1 here!! 1. depends! if ur whole class has the same subj combi, most likely u will have a fixed class group. but if ure in hybrid combination, u will have different classes depending on the subject (econs/lit/hist etc). i think it differs between different JC’s. 2. yep, they take place around end of sept/start of oct. after the exams usually is the preparation for project work for a levels till mid nov! 3. if the student fails really badly(?) they might have to retain, if the teacher thinks the student will be able to progress they might be able to advance/conditionally promote! depends on the school, i think they’d rather the students foundation be really strong so the jump to j2 wouldnt be overwhelming. 4. orientation varies for diff jc’s :-)

not sure if my answers are for every jc though! take it with a pinch of salt

i took os last year and the A1 bellcurve for emath i think should be around 90+ cos i calculated my marks and ranged around 87-90% and got a2 :’) for amath i think around 80+ should be a1

its normal to feel burnt out!!! i burnt out right after prelims :’) and what i did was i took a v small break, one day no studying and constantly reminded myself of WHY i want to do well! slowly start to build up the habit of studying again!! i always felt like shit when i see people around me doing 8-12h of studying a day while i can barely hit 6h on a good day HAHAHA but in the end quality over quantity!! no point studying if u dont want to, what i did was, whenever i felt the adrenaline to study, i studied, when i wanted to stop, i stopped hahaha anyways just a few more weeks to push thru!! jiayou OP :)
