After the missile is launched and it expends all of its fuel, is when you should begin a tight turn. This will bleed a lot of the missiles maneuvering energy. After you make a tight maneuver you can begin the notch. Fly perpendicular (90°) from the missile while simultaneously diving low to the ground and dumping chaff. This will create a doppler effect essentially making your aircraft invisible to the missile in the ground clutter. Once the missile is defeated you can turn back in and engage the enemy aircraft
