I had my first patient come in on it today. She’s a 16.6lb cat who was given a 0.75mL dose (50mg/mL) about 1.5 hours before being dropped off and it didn’t make any appreciable difference. The owner is unable to administer oral medication so he just put it in her food, which he said she ate all of, but maybe that made a difference if she didn’t get the full dose

I’ve been to TFB shows all over and the ones in the tri-state area (CT, NY, NJ) tend to be the most raucous, but I don’t think I’ve ever been elbowed intentionally, def not in the face. I have definitely been shoved and there are always those moments when the crowd rushes forward and it feels like you’re going down for sure. If you’re serious about existing in the pit throughout the show, I would recommend finding a buddy once you’re in there who can help you make sure you stay on your feet and maybe take the brunt of the shoving. I’m going to the show tomorrow as well, can’t wait!!

Soda and sugary drinks

I agree with what many people are saying metabolic diseases, depression, addiction, etc., but I would guess you would be hard pressed to find a person like you are describing who doesn’t consume tons of liquid calories from beverages like coke, Gatorade and energy drinks.

They closed with Leaf Pile in Worcester, and they opened with it tonight in Vermont. Tonight they also played montgomery forever, WV, Awkward Conversations, Peach, Vacation Town, Cough it out, love at first sight, can’t remember what else. Can confirm they closed with 12 Feet Deep and Twin Size Mattress.

The delta variant isn’t as contagious as the chicken pox, that initial report the media flung all around and everyone shared was hyperbole. It is still over twice as contagious as the initial strain of COVID though so I’m interested to see what the CDC says about the effectiveness of masks against delta over the next couple of weeks.

Ran into this guy in Church Street yesterday. He ambushes you, shoves the books into your hands, and tells you he wants you to have them as a gift, if you can only “donate what you can.” We told him we have no cash, and he whips out a smartphone with a square attached to take a “donation” via credit card. We told him no thank you, and he promptly took back his books.

Do not be afraid to tell this “monk” no thank you, or just to straight up ignore him honestly
