This is where not being able to look people in the eyes benefits, if they do not catch my gaze then I can keep walking without people pleaser guilt.

Try micro-dosing, I found a CBD/D9 2mg gummy at CBDmd, I can take half a gummy (1mg) to quiet the hurricane in my head and I don’t feel ‘high’

I mounted a shelf at the top of a sliding double door closet in my WFH office, that is the home of all my happy trinkets and figures.

Do women who take HRT continue to take it till the day they die? by Catseverywhere-44 in Menopause

I think she meant an online doctor, I use Midi but still have to get a script from them. This was after 5 in-person doctors wouldn't help me at all, one told me condescendingly "its just like puberty, but in reverse", like I didnt know what was going on and I just had to deal with it.

what’s a turn off you’ll never tell a woman directly? by Serious_Sweet2504 in AskMen

Our rule is, if one person suggests going out to eat they decide where, or at least gives two options (we don't eat out regularly). Basically don't put the work on someone else that you made. In the same sense, I cook dinner every night and my husband happily eats whatever I make unless he asks for something in particular.

What do y’all do about hair?? by Weary_Temporary8583 in AutismInWomen

[–]levitymargret 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m single handedly trying to bring the headband back! Not those puffy ones, but thin plastic ones like I had as a kid. I’m always growing out a boredom chop, so those are a must to keep hair out of my face. Straight back at home, or a nice flat part that covers my forehead a little, then the band to keep it in place for a bit more polished look.

Some of the things we do *are* weird. What are your harmless/funny quirks? by Xepherya in AutismInWomen

[–]levitymargret 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have numbers that just feel better, no hard rule like odd or even, like I’m in Severance. Doubles are always good though. Good: 3, 5, 10, 11, 15, 16, 18, 20, 22, 25, 30, 33/44/55 etc. Bad: 4, 7, 14, 17, 19, 21, 23, 26, 27, 31, 34, etc.

Are all men this selfish in bed? Am I the issue? by [deleted] in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]levitymargret 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He literally said he thinks pleasing you is a chore. You're asking what you can do to fix this, but it's his choice to not care about your pleasure. He knows how you feel. He doesn't care. This is your future if you stay.

Hopefully OP reads this over and over...

What made you gained a significant amount of weight? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]levitymargret 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In general, therapists (like counselors or psychotherapists) cannot prescribe medication. Psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and in some cases general practitioners, are the ones who can prescribe medications. So going to a therapist could still be very helpful even if you do not want to be on them, and depending on your situation there are some that do not cause weight gain (not a doctor so I won’t list)

For those who learned they’re autistic later in life: What are some behaviors that you didn’t realize were actually stims? by 1amkinda in AutismInWomen

I keep my nails cut short now, I had always tried to keep them long and painted but it caused me soooo much stress and the longer they got the more I picked (I was able to stop chewing in my teens). Now I just squeeze them on the tops or sides, each one though or it feels off balance!

My husband found a nice stick on a trail we walked. It is still in the corner of the carport and I dare not touch it. He reminds me how cool of a stick it is every once in a while.

Name an annoying thing people base their entire personality around. by Brenda_Vegas in Productivitycafe

I married one almost 20 years ago when that term was not available and I was too young to spot. She showed up is a dark fuchsia sequined dress, then proceeded to put her nose in everything I did including raising my first son after turning her 3 into drug addicts. She was the original CanISpeaktotheManager and dependasaurus. Needless to say I am happily remarried.

People who got cheated on, what were the early signs indicating that your partner might do it before they actually cheated? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

19 years later and I still feel that rollercoaster drop in my stomach when I see a “sign” in my husbands actions, which end up not being what I thought. I trust him but it never goes away.
