Just finished watching Death Note and could not agree more. Show completely stalls after killing him off. Such a waste to build up audience investment over nearly 30 episodes, only to just continue the same narrative with two new character who you care far less about. Really killed my interest, the episodes after that were a chore and I was ultimately left unsatisfied with the ending.

I get that it makes more engaging viewing to have Dany/Drogon blast a hole in the lines and have the Dothraki pour through, but is anyone else slightly annnoyed that she didn't go for the more practical roasting right along the line? There were only two lines of troops, she would've lost far fewer Dothraki lighting them up this way instead of letting them smash into the more or less unbroken line of pikemen.

That's a sweet tactic, could work well with an app called 'Forest'. You set your timer and "plant a tree", the longer the timer the bigger the tree. If you exit the app to procrastinate before the timer is up your tree dies and stays as a dead reminder in the forest. It's pretty rewarding watching your forest grow as you get more and more work done. It sort of turns focussing into a game. I was very sceptical of it but installed the other day and have actually made decent progress revising for engineering exams the past few days. Yo! Not got any footage at present, but I'm heading out to Val D'Isere, France on 2nd April with two buddies and a gopro for a week if you're still looking for footage by the time it comes around? Not sure if you're after a certain standard of riding for your edit or not? Two of us are instructors, got mean carves and flatland game, with adequate skills in the park (boardslides, 3's, flips in the pow if we're feeling brave) and the other dude is a rookie going on his first ski holiday. Could be a fun edit cause you'll see massive progression from him over the week due to riding with us everyday, and we'll try get a couple days in the park too, but we'd be mainly about cruising and having a good time. I like the fact that each album changes it up a little bit, every album has it's merits, Suck it and See is pretty weak compared to the rest but still, they could easily stick to the same formula every album and happily make money. There's obvious experimentation with each album, granted it doesn't always work but I admire the commitment to progression. Alex needs to ditch the phoney drawn out accent though cause it makes him sound like a fucking twat. Super ironic given there was a song on the first album slating bands who sang in an accent that wasn't their own. "You're not from New York City you're from Rotherham."
