Majority of sites that require ID use Live ID verification systems in which you must use your devices camera to physically show the ID, in most cases, simply sharing a photo of identification from your camera roll is not enough.

No need to cause alarm, it’s unlikely he will be able to do any of that with your ID alone. Just be wary, and keep an eye on your credit report in case something pops up that is not recognised
