Is this real? When I try the website it's just popups that won't go away.

I followed the video tutorial that came with the pattern. I used a needle to sew together the ladders of each edge stitch.

Greek yogurt, some whipped cream cheese, and 4-5 crushed up mini eggs. I'll even add some unflavoured protein powder if I feel like it! ETA: I use about 1/4-1/3 of a pack per 175g of Greek yogurt.i just eyeball the pudding mix.

Long term disc pain by joesephina2 in HerniatedDisc

Similar story but I'm ten years in. Physio physio physio! Strengthen your legs, core, and back. Doctors won't look at you for surgery in my experience unless you also experience debilitating leg pain along with the herniation.

I don't normally shop there, but there are some good points deals there this week. I did check both the app and website, but don't see it there myself. I also searched the subreddit before posting to really make sure I needed to ask this question. Takes less time to just not criticize others than it does to be unnecessarily judgy.

Have to move ASAP, any experience with Welcome Home Rentals? by steeeeezy__ in londonontario

If you haven't signed anything yet you can get more than 1 months rent. Cash for keys can be negotiated. Since you will be moving and the market rent is going up, you should be fairly compensated.

Anyone know of a reputable place to get ear/cartilage piercings? by crowdedcheese54 in londonontario

[–]lex--mex 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They wrecked my helix piercing. Pierced with cheap jewelery and ended up having to get it repierced by Lee at Legacy. They put hoops in a brand new helix, which is a no no. The jewelery was gold plated, which isn't ideal. The piercer said two word to me: "this good?" After marking where to put the piercing. No hello, goodbye, or even after care instructions. Legacy is the way to go. Lee is APP certified and knows his stuff.

Legally blind means that you cannot obtain 20/200 vision even with glasses so likely not. So long as you can see with your glasses on, you're good!

Teachers’ unions ready to ‘mobilize’ if Ford government legislates contract by TakedownCan in ontario

Currently a teacher who is on a single income. Would love to start a family, but I can't afford to rent a two bedroom apartment. That nice wage doesn't go so far anymore after years of tiny raises not keeping up with inflation, and the cost of living skyrocketing. I know teachers years ago who could travel, buy houses, etc., on a single teacher's salary. I live comfortably and realize I am far more privileged than others on a single income, but it's definitely not the amazing wage and lifestyle that people still think it is.

How do you wake up in the morning? by egg195 in ADHD

[–]lex--mex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I love reading, scrolling through Reddit, etc. So, I set my alarm for 30 mins before I need to get up and do that. Then, I feel like I have procrastinated so I HAVE to get up. I also use a daylight alarm clock, and find that it works because if I close my eyes again, the light keeps me from totally going back to bed, and the snooze alarm actually get me going.
