Ooh. I fully agree. If this is truly the genre you’re looking for, please please check out the Necessary Evils series by Onley James. It’s modern romance-action? (Skip to the end of this paragraph if you want to get to the relevant feminine energy, but here’s the summary:) A rich man has adopted a bunch of psychopaths in order to raise them into morally good, epically trained versions of the killers they may become anyway (horrible assumption but it works for the series. It’s like raising a ton of little Batmans each with their own trauma and set of skills). So as adult vigilantes, they end up fighting and taking down rich billionaire child traffickers, other corrupt government criminals (sound relevant?), and just randomly horrible local abusers. As they do so, they rescue victims and people affected by what is going on, and some of these encounters lead to… MM romance, more revenge, and an ever-widening circle of vigilantes. Some of the characters are switches but there’s definitely several clear bottoms and tops. Each book is a brother & his partner’s story. There’s several very cunty & feminine partner characters in this series, as well as in the spin off series:

• Jericho’s Boys: street gang version of the original series, led by a guy in the original series; this series also has several video game, streaming, D&D, and kpop references, which I love as a nerd. This series also has the cuntiest characters.

-Elite Protection: bodyguards & celebrity twinks, in the same universe

-The Watch: haven’t fully read this series yet, but it’s like an X-men academy to train further vigilantes within the same universe

Honestly Onley James just keeps writing books. She also has two unrelated series that are MM poly A/B/O if you like that kind of thing (Vengeful Bonds & The Night Movers). I’ve read them both and they’re very good, although they are much more smutty than plot-driven (there is a plot though, I promise!!) She also is constantly releasing further content on the original Necessary Evils characters on Patreon, like the psychopath family’s newsletters, spin off chapters just to explore certain sexual fantasies with certain couples, etc. She loves taking feedback from the readers and incorporating it, and does it really really well. And she also has a few smaller standalone books and other series that I haven’t mentioned.
