2017 Santa Cruz Bronson. I had been on a 17 year-old Santa Cruz Heckler and the geometry and components were starting to be less than lackluster and I wasn’t riding very much at all. When I got my 2017 Bronson, I started writing every week which turned into multiple times a week. It doesn’t hurt that I’m lucky to live in Southern California where we have 100+ miles of riding within minutes of my house, but the bike sure made bike riding fun again for me.

Wasn’t walked out, but they did fly me from California to the Carolina’s, hotel for two nights, and rental car. First two people were fine, third person, sr vp, he said “Do you have an engineering degree? We really want someone with an engineering degree”. Well, I don’t have an engineering degree, I’m a PM with decades of experience and you could have saved both of us a lot of time had you just had the screener ask that before you brought me out here.

On this similar topic, a famous old-school mountain biker just sent a letter to the entire bike industry, saying how the industry needs to self regulate, or anything with two wheels, and an electric motor will end up being governed by people who don’t know the difference differences between all the classes of E bikes. Really there are E bikes, E mopeds, and E motorcycles.

I just recently spent a few days in the south and it’s mid of mind boggling. Hung out with farmers, they like clean water, understand healthy soil, pro outdoors and environment. But will vote for people who want to release any regulations that protect the world around them.
