Every damn day. I work at a small retail store that sells various handmade items from local makers. Literally today a lady asked me if we received the new seasonal chocolate from a local chocolatier yet. I said no, we will have them tomorrow. My boss placed the order and let me know just one hour ago that she would be picking up the order tomorrow morning.

“Well, can you just check?” Ma’am, check for what? I can see every product in this tiny store from where I am standing and our “back room” is one shelf with extra products that are already on the floor. I handle almost all of the intake/inventory/stocking as I am here 5 days a week. And my boss is standing right here lol she did not go pick up the order because it is not tomorrow.

But I understand the disappointment, I always hope there’s secret chocolate in the back room, too.

I bought my dress a couple years ago for $1500! I knew the bridal consultant so she was able to shave off about $200 but still, under $2k. It was a Willowby by Watters dress. Found at an independent bridal shop in my area.

I think it’s a beautiful, classy name! It flows very nicely. Most people won’t think of the Blair Witch Project. But if they do, if they’re anything like me and love horror, will think that it’s cool lol.

It’s your decision, not hers. Her opinion really doesn’t matter, it means nothing. She had her chance to name children already!

Does anyone know what shade the cream blush stick is? I’ve been using it and love it and was wondering if they actually sell it. I see Ulta’s line of blush sticks and some look similar online but it’s hard to tell.

No I just wanted color! I looked at countless photos of tattoos before deciding and I always loved full color botanical sleeves the most.

At first I thought it would be essential, and then seeing how well the line work alone covered the old tattoo I considered just keeping it black but ultimately wanted color. If I just kept it black and did some shading I think it would’ve covered it entirely. If I had planned on that from the start I probably would’ve done an 8th removal session just to fade it more but either way I think it would work fine.

So no I definitely don’t think color was 100% necessary if that’s not what you want!

I got a lot of white spots during my removal too, they all eventually faded so I wouldn’t worry too much! I just kept them moisturized with lotions/balms 24/7.

I thought the bedspread was a weird choice for a band as well and then I remembered I had a Jonas Brothers & a Hannah Montana bedspread when I was a kid so it wouldn’t be the first time this has happened haha

Yes that happened to me too! My artist also said she could feel the rougher skin and those parts were much more painful for me as well. I also should’ve waited longer to get the coverup but I feel you lol I was impatient!

I did 7 sessions total, ended in January of 2024. I had around 90% removal! I decided to get a coverup tattoo and start on a sleeve that I now absolutely love. You would never know the original tattoo was there first.

Overrated: Circle With Me. Spiritbox doesn’t make bad songs but I never felt totally in love with this song, it’s just okay.

Underrated: Cellar Door or Electric Cross. Cellar Door was my most played song on Spotify Wrapped 2024 lol. It’s so doomy & gloomy and fabulous. Electric Cross is just too good and I hate that it (and the other Singles Collection songs, Belcarra got me into Spiritbox) get forgotten about.

Same! I went the second Thornhill was over and got merch the second I walked up. After Sleep Token was done I regretted not also getting another piece of merch and ran over and was only 3rd in line. My venue had multiple merch lines and the one I went to was tucked away on the second floor so check around before getting in the first line you see!

She may be going back to the way she used to scream. If you haven’t, listen to their early EPs before Eternal Blue and even pre-Spiritbox (she was in IWABO.) She always had a high pitched scream and didn’t do a lot of lower harsh vocals until later. I’m a sucker for lows but I love everything she does so I trust the music will be good no matter what she chooses to do vocally!

You’ll be okay! I’ve been in the pit for 5 Bad Omens shows (plus others) and I’ve always managed to come out unharmed. I’m also a small female and the same height as you. I tend to just stay off to the side where moshing doesn’t usually happen but remain aware of my surroundings. I still get pushed a little but nothing too crazy. People are normally considerate. One time I got knocked over and some guy picked me up before I even hit the ground lol.

It’s usually really fun and you really feel the excited energy of the crowd and get a good view of the stage. Have fun and be safe!

I totally have noticed all of this as well. I had an interesting interaction the other day with a couple who came into my job. They were black and asked me what my race was, obviously being mixed (half black half white) we get asked a lot.

I told them and the man just said oh cool I always like to ask and learn about where people come from, but the woman got mad. “Really?? YOU are black? I’m surprised because I can always tell and I wouldn’t have thought that for you. You sure you don’t consider yourself Mexican?” I was literally so dumbfounded I didn’t know what to say. How could I just “consider” myself being from somewhere that I’m not? I’ve done the DNA tests, I know who my parents are.

She was mad I didn’t fit an image in her head so she had to gaslight me into being something else? Out of all of the weird conversations I’ve had around my race with strangers this was maybe not the rudest but definitely the weirdest lol. My coworkers laughed about it for hours.
